You may be right, maybe the forum can get together and create a totally unrealistic rumor just to see how long it takes them to repeat it .
How strange, to put another seating variation in.... I can see it already on here, Im a platinum I paid to fly on A330 VH-XFC, but you shonky coughs put on Airbus XFB, which is such an inferior product now, even though I was happy as a pig in **** with it last week. I want a refund, I want to travel for free, Im going to cry .... blah blah blah
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
If VA decide to market and promote all their A330's with the newer product then anyone has a right to complain if they get the inferior product
Much like the pathetic roll out of J and selling of J seats/service on aircraft which did not have the product
Pathetic is a strong word, care to elaborate?
More so, selling J class on routes operated by aircraft which would never have the J class product (ie the eJets).
There doesn't seem to be any good evidence of this happening any time soon. There's another thread here which shows a mock-up photo of a E190 1-2...but that's from an ASX presentation in February and the slide which accompanies the picture indicates the cabin is coming in FY13.The e-jets are getting J in a 1-2 configuration.

Don't get me wrong - there are some E190 routes which I would be very happy to use if Virgin offered proper J.
Here's the thread:It was in a thread recently - may have been this one or another I can't quite remember - but they will start fitting them late this year from memory, with them being finished in 2013.

A small article on page 22 of this months (April) VA Voyeur magazine states 'Later this year VA is expanding its business class offering to its Embraer 190 fleet in a bid to serve all its corporate high fliers. The cabin redesign will include a spacious 2:1 layout and new luxury leather seating for the six business class seats with generous 38 inch seat pitch as well as a fixed divider to seperate economy class'.It was in a thread recently - may have been this one or another I can't quite remember - but they will start fitting them late this year from memory, with them being finished in 2013.

Virgin Australia 777-300ER VH-VPH arrived in Sydney this morning from Abu Dhabi in the new Virgin Australia colour scheme.
I understand that the aircraft also has a the 'refreshed' interior (new fabrics etc) and that a media release will be made shortly.
Cheers
