A while back VA had a discount code that could be used for (almost) any domestic booking.

I booked a flight with this promo code the other day, it didn't apply to the restricted economy but did work on discount economy upwards. The coupon might have expired?

Yep! I tried to book it for June 2017 but it didn't apply any discounts D: Maybe we have to wait for 2017 codes.

Most codes currently have terms like "Book from 1st July to 30th September 2016, for travel up to 31st December 2016" - So yeah the codes won't work for any 2017 bookings right now until new ones are released.

Agree. And which probably won't be until after 30 September 2016.

It should be valid for bookings made up until 1st January 2017. I just tried a dummy search and the discount was shown for a flight in February 2017.

Works for me, just booked the wife and I SYD-CFS return in Jan, knocked about $30 off our elevate tickets.

Also FWIW I was able to book business class seats on an elevate fare. Not sure if it's a bug or they don't offer business class service on that route/aircraft combo (current aircraft is showing as an E190) so we'll see if that's still there at check in

Bkw code is now only valid for freedom and business fares. The other Clx code is working for all fares..
