Virgin Australia to lease more 737s

But who cares about the back few rows or even back half of the plane....

Aren't we just concerned about the pointy end, ha?

Work has stopped using VA2, so it’s my own coin so I definitely won’t be in the pointy end if I fly Virgin! :(

Presumably VARA are having some pretty good success with the 320s. The Fokker's must be getting harder and harder to repair.

Be interesting to see if they're old VA birds returning or picked up from the likes of Silk again. And this if the later, no doubt that'll mean the updated seats again.

Its getting pretty big now. Add in the max order and that’s a pretty large 737 fleet, a record number for any Aussie operator.

Fleet simplicity is a wonderful thing. Worked well for Southwest and it appears to be working well here.

Going to be good to see this company actually become what it was meant to be, a highly profitable and successful 737 operation.

At least for mainline it's a all 737 operation, which starts to remind us of the largely profitable Godfrey era all-737 LCC era (before the 'New World era' and Godfrey/Branson making their first move into regional with the Embraer 170/190 order)

The VARA subsidiary in WA are starting to pick up a few A320s as the oldest Fokkers start getting out out to pasture.
