Virgin Australia to lease more 737s

Looks like takeover was aborted and returned back to a terminal ?

There was reported issues with the first two attempts to deliver it to VA. I think this suggests the particular aircraft still have niggling minor issues.

No different to the rest of the Rex 737s. They really don’t like sitting around for months and months. The plus for VA is the lessor funds all these engineering blues prior to delivery.

VH-RQP should be following in the coming days on delivery to Virgin. Tentatively scheduled for Wed 27 Nov.
It looks like it'll sit in Melbourne for a while before going for painting unlike VH-REX which went to Wagga the next day.
