Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Will VA ever go back to wide bodied aircraft with flat lie in J?
Was there any ever concrete info from VA as to the MAX 10 order? There were rumours about swapping some or all to the -8 but I cannot recall anything definitive.

Adding some kind of barrier you imagine should ALWAYS have been right at the forefront of this changeover. Someone has screwed up here.
It really wouldn't be hard for VA to add a magnetic rope again, but on the new config it could be near the back of the seats on row 2 between the 2 fold away tray table holders/arm rests.

Surely you can modify the sky dividers to add parts to hold a rope.

The sky divider is at head height, there is no way to attach a rope at waist height, and it doesn't dip any lower than the top of the seats. I can't imagine how that would be possible.
The rope also can't be in line with the sky divider under the new configuration as that would be in the way of row 3.

Something Malaysia-esque maybe?

Yep, but the curtain, acting as a barrier for pax, is still a completely separate component to the sky divider, as in, they aren't attached to each other (that's in reply to HS-TQE)
Let's see, from what I have heard, there won't be any barrier, just the sky dividers moving forward (above the seats). Let's hope that is wrong or they've had a rethink.

Perhaps something like the attached could work, instead of the curtain... forgive my pathetic attempt at creating a rope ;)

It's an electronic generated noise that is required....with mild electric shock when any pax ventured forward ...they would only do it once ..,🤭😜😛

Sounds like the perfect fit with the 'theme' of Rex! Shame about those 737's...

Latest update as of 28 August is here.
The densification continues! All 7 in-service Max8s are now densified, and the 8th is undergoing densification now at MLB!

So, the new business seat rollout —

The first two "seat demo" ex-SilkAirs have new business seats, config is C8 and Y162 (undensified):
VH-IJQ and
VH-IWQ

The existing VAs, but now with 31 rows (and 1 row less of Economy X!), to be C8 and Y174 are:
All VH-VO* regos (4 aircraft)
VH-VU~ regos: where ~ is E, H, K-L, O-Q

Notably, it appears all but one Max8s have also undergone "densification" reconfigured to also have 31 rows (and 1 row less of Economy X!), to be C8 and Y174. The last (VH-8IH) is undergoing cabin reconfig now, soooo...
All VH-8I* regos (8 aircraft)

And the 737-700s, config as C8 and Y126:
VH-NBP (ex-KLM)
VH-VBY
VH-VBZ

This can help if you wanna check for any changes until the next update :)
