yep the VH-YI series have the extras required for international ops like the life rafts. VUG/F/Y have also do some international in the past as well.

Poor OP copping so much flack for posting his views.
Hate to be seated next to some of the judgemental people who post on here.
I just complained to Virgin about the poor business class they set up to take on QF business.
I got $100 credit towards my next flight which i won't use as their product doesn't meet my expectations.
I don't care how it compares to Europe because i'm flying here, paying here and comparing it to other products offered here.
No foot rest is poor. If Garuda can offer on their 738 why can't Virgin?
The food was bland, dried out and very small serving for a Business meal.
Headset was useless. Couldn't hear the movie on the samsung tablet. i should not have to carry my own headphones as the price is the same as other carriers with head phones that work.
You shouldn't have to look for the fine point about what seats offer what on what types of aircraft.
My choice on Mel to DPS is now Garuda-Jetsar and never Virgin. I don't care what Garuda were like 10 years ago as they now have lifted their game enough for me to feel completely safe on their aircraft.
The assumption that everyone who goes to Bali is a bogan is just a stupid comment made by those people whom i wouldn't want to be seated next to on the fight.

Having read the OP and mentally correcting the spelling and grammar I was considering a reply but decided it wasn't worth the effort.

24 hours later and PineappleSkip has summed it up nicely.:o

Yet you posted anyway....
