Virgin CBR-SYD flights restarting

So, when I'm flying SYD-CBR or vv. I always get an email prior to each flight telling me that it'll be operated by Link. I'm flying CBR-SYD on Friday and today I got this email instead:
We wish to inform you that your upcoming flight from Canberra to Sydney will be operated by Alliance Airlines on behalf of Virgin Australia. Alliance Airlines will operate this flight using a Fokker Jet.
So I'll be curious to see what the experience is like, assuming the email is correct. Looking at the booking the seat map hasn't changed and it's still showing the Link Airways Saab 340 layout.

I'm not aware of Alliance Airlines operating any SYD-CBR on behalf of Virgin. I suspect that email may have been an error.
