Row 3/10 preselection at the time of booking makes VA WP worth attaining alone. Also, the offshore VA call centre is very average at best and the premium call centre is far better and can actually do something (SG may also get this as well?). The comp upgrades are worth ~40000pts on PER-East Coast flights which is a nice bonus.

Some sort of recognition/extras for WP on partner airlines would be nice. If you are flying SQ, there is no difference between SG and WP at all (unless on the codeshare flights were you earn a bit more).

Front row seat selection is about the only real benefit I miss since I dropped from QF P1 back to QF WP and makes booking QF in Y difficult knowing I can only select an average seat until T-80.

Upgrade vouchers can't be used on website. no functionality required for something that can't be used

Now medhead.....you know I was meaning a useful improvement (note that I didn't use the term "enhancement" ). Having those improvements mentioned....and having the ability to do it on line would almost seem "proactive" .

I havent really noticed any benefit other than Row 3. But as most of my flying is now on SQ i'm switching my earning to Krisflyer so I can maintain *A Gold

PER - East Coast upgrades are 9900pts each, so four upgrades are worth 39600pts in total. Even four of the shortest upgrades would be worth 19600pts in total.

Ah yea sorry my brain is tired, when you add it like that I know understand what you mean.

It's a shame because my 4 upgrades will be wasted this year, 6 weeks to use them and nothing booked. Would be good if they could be transferred

As long as you assign the upgrades to flights by the end of your qualification year, you can still use them on flights later in the next qualification year. However, once your current qualification year finishes, you will not be able to change or cancel the upgrades for the current year.

I'm purely a leisure flyer so generally don't have much booked in advanced. Only thing booked now for rest of year are SQ flights in June & October. My VA flights typically only book a few weeks out

I'm at 650 status credits and will go to 750 in June...

The only reason I could justify a trip to asia with SQ or something like that to get to 1000/WP is so that I don't have to requalify next year and drop back down to gold 'for free'...
