Virgin Slow with points

Definitely seems to be issues.

My MEL-ADL flight last week on 26/11 hasn't credited yet but the return leg on the 27/11 has (didn't post until 2nd of December). I've put in a claim but haven't heard anything yet.

The double points for the BP fuel offer in the last week of November seems to be behind for me. I've got the basic points but not the additional 100%. Why wouldn't it all go through together?

Slow with points?........don't get me started with crediting of flights operated by Etihad!!!

Despite retro claims, I'm still waiting for VA flights operated by EY taken on Oct 31/Nov 1 from LHR-AUH-SYD to be credited to my account!!

I'm still waiting on two EY flights from the 21st of October.. Beyond ridiculous.

Seems like they're more interested in blaming EY than actually fixing whatever the problem is, even for those of us who are long-term platinum members.

You would think that in the case where it is a VA issued ticket for VA flight numbers, there wouldn't be the need to wait for EY confirmation. I sure would like an explanation on hoe the system works in these cases.

I have been waiting 5 weeks for my Melbourne-Abu Dhabi-Paris return points. I have escalated it and received one leg only. I am doing a Melbourne to Miami at Christmas and was hoping to have been a WP for that flight to get the bonus points but with 3 weeks to go I can't see that happening.
Hey virgin loyalty schemes are meant to create loyalty. I have scanned and emailed all my boarding passes all with VA flight numbers on them. Get me my status credits and points please or I may as well fly with any airline that sky scanner says is the cheapest.

I do truly hope that VFF reads your post, as if I recall correctly, you came through the ranks as a pilot gold? If so, the loyalty you've shown VA is exactly what those schemes are meant to foster, yet here they are, risking their winning of your flying loyalty simply because they cannot follow through on their promises.

If I were you, I'd try PMing VFF here on AFF and explaining your situation. It's certainly not an unreasonable expectation to have it resolved so you can rightfully use the platinum status you've earned.

I also waiting for EY flights from over 1 month ago. Put in a retro claim exactly 14 days after the flight and it still says "Awaiting Response". Just not good enough - there is obviously a systemic problem with EY because SQ post within 48 hours typically.

In 2015 took 3 months to Get EY points credited. Perth/AUH/Milan business platinum Velocity but booked through Etihad, as we like to choose exact seat. (book Virgin and you can't choose and get the left overs. More expensive too) Got some legs credited, but not all, even being told not entitled and no record of it by virgin. Until scanned and sent the boarding passes. Always hang on to boarding passes. Proves bum on seat!
I reckon though it is Etihad being slack.
In 2014 on a previous trip Etihad they lost my business booking out of Milan to home on the computer. Lovely, turning up at the desk-Who are you. But, as always I had a print out of my booking so they scuttled away and sorted it, eventually, including previously selected seat. My partner was also booked separately, identically. They had his booking ok!!!

There's something going on. I flew VA SYD-MEL-SYD 10 days ago and still no points

It would seem that this an industry-wide issue:

Yes, it would appear so. Twice in a row now, I've had to submit a missing points claim for JQ flights accruing QFF points/SCs. Hilton has stuffed up my points yet again. I think this is part of the "work" associated with the FFer job. Keeping track of points accrual and SC awarding and it seems to be near a full time job to do it all meticulously. Certainly makes me wonder just how many millions of points are conned out of people who genuinely earned them!
