Wendouree allocations and general discussion

That's good news afro - hopefully other AFFers who have been waiting will have some good news also

just checked my bank account online, card charged on monday, looks like everything i asked for, still hope for others to get full allocations.

I spoke to them today and it seems they're processing to orders by surname because she said they weren't up to [my surname initial] yet.

I have a double-surname though and if they'd chosen the surname initial from the first part I would have had my order weeks ago ;)

ETA: Although now that I think about it, I do know that other people who already have theirs have a surname that starts later in the alphabet than mine, so it would appear that it still goes by location as well

There are only 7 letters left after mine and I've been lucky to have had mine for weeks - maybe they started at Z.....

I thought about it after I posted and added the edit :)

I suspect that location, surname and marks are all in play.

She did say they were doing something new this year!

Either way, I'm just relieved that all's good with my order and nothing's gone wrong like mail going awry or a misprint of my credit card details :)

I'm on!

Credit card debited today for what looks like the full allocation.

Once received it will be about 1 month later than 2015.

I'm now thinking ahead to 2017 when I will be OS for nearly 5 months and how I will handle the order/delivery scenario then.

Nothing for me yet, but I was hopelessly slow returning the form, so not sure if that comes into play...

It may have an impact. But it all depends on how many send in orders and how many these people asked for.

I know a black signature that sent his order in 3 weeks after receiving it. He receive all 10 cases that he ordered a few days ago. I had been trying to persuade him (without success) to provide me with part of his allocation if my order had failed.

Undertaking: I, Wozza, (fellow) Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, hereby humbly and reverently undertake to take most excellent care of the honourable, Dr Ralph Esq's most precious Wendouree 2017 order of fine wines, upon delivery, and promising, most earnestly, to love and cherish said (fine) wines, until his Squire returns from his most dangerous of adventures.

Fee: Gratis.

Strings attached: Just your brief time at lunch when you are winning that next big case in the CBD Sydney ...

Glad the order came through. And happy to be the guardian if that's convenient.

I may just take you up on your offer Wozza.

Best offer I've had so far is a neighbour of mine offering to undertake necessary activities for 1 X Shiraz.

PS. I've been working the regional courts a lot lately, but may have a matter listed for Queens Square in November.

Have anyone tried asking for seconds? Thinking I may have ordered less than I should (6 of each other than muscat) felt like I should've purchased more...

Not aware of people applying for seconds, but I am aware of people making late offers who have been successful in getting something.

I guess if they have supplied all received orders there should be no reason why they wouldn't supply again.

Received 2 boxes this morning, i hope there's more on the way, usually they come all together. should be 8 boxes in total
