Wendouree allocations and general discussion

I was charged $30 (for 6) to Newcastle, not sure if they made a mistake, but I threw out the invoice letter without checking it.

the order form says "onforwarding ..ex capital cities to country destinations is at Aust Post rates "

I think you may get stung by Aust Post onforwarding rates

Auspost has been ripping us off for a long time, not just local postage, overseas postage has gone up double(to Asia). Passport photos $16.99 for 2. But that is a different topic for another forum.

Going back to mini2's post after he rang, the bit about "picking a letter", I wonder if we have surnames that start with letters that are close in the alphabet, Dr Ralph? Mine starts with an H and a girlfriend in SYD who also starts with an H had her order processed yesterday too.

They were saying pick a letter and could go up or down. I'll happily drink their Kool-Aid and be grateful to receive everything this year.

My order just turned up, no Shiraz for the first time but I got the Cab Sauv that I missed out on last year so I'm pretty happy overall :D

Oh boy, wendouree does it again.i can safely say that wendouree doesn’t have a system at all, no loyalty or high ranks.treats everyone equally the same.

They do have a system. Not sure that I understand it though. Up until 2017 I was getting pretty much everything I wanted. That changed in 2017 and for what ever reason I've fallen foul of them.

I have managed to secure my shiraz and cabernet from a friend who was willing to do a swap.

you are not the only one got "downgraded" from them, quite a few similar stories i've heard.

Starts from the 90's , hand signature didn't order anything for 1 year(bad vintage) and decided to call wendoure and see if they could let him skip the year, the answer was yes but the signature disappeared on the letter in the following year. quite a few people lost their signature "status" due to similar problems.

Now yours , where they cannot/don't wanted to supplier your allocation, which is not your fault but they "downgraded"you anyway.

I wonder if placing a smaller than usual order could've prevented the downgrade in this scenario.

Received my order this week - no Shiraz, some (not all) Cab, with the difference for the Cab made up. Red crayon for some years now.

1st time on mailing list- received x6 shiraz malbec (was expecting to get nothing). Is it worth popping one now to try out or best to wait? Thanks
