Wendouree allocations and general discussion

Hey guys, just after some advice - which one out of 2022 vintage wines would be a good drink now?
Thinking a Malbec or Mataro blend?
I opened a 2022 Shiraz Mataro just before Christmas. Decanted and let it breath for a few hours....first glass average, second glass an hour or so later a bit better. Poured the rest back in the bottle, and repeated the process the following night.....first glass much better, and the remainder was excellent. So i guess plenty of air time and patience is what I got out of that experience.

I opened a bottle of Muscat of Alexandria ( I just realised it is a sub-variety of Muscat). I must say that for my taste it was way too sweet, perhaps stopping short of sickeningly sweet. Even for SWMBO. We had to dilute it with sparkling mineral water and add some ice to make it into a refreshing drink on a warm evening. Luckily I only ordered one bottle to try.

Drink it with a fresh lime wedge and ice next time don’t dilute. It will make this perfect.
