Westfield XS card

I would advise To avoid managing telegraph transactions and multiple transactions over the same day . Is there a way to use a corporate account online to double dip such transactions .

reinvention of basic circular transportation device.

Thanks Shayne

Bought a Load N Go travel card the other day. No problems at all using XS. Just said pay by EFTPOS, swiped the card myself, select savings and way to go.

There appear to be consistent reports of people having problems in the last few days. I certainly wouldn't be betting the house on this.

Yeah FWIW, not sure that I buy into this Load N Go travel card thing anyway. The proposition is marginal at best IMHO.
YMMV.

As Newk has said, I think the best use of these XS cards is to earn points on transactions which would otherwise face surcharges... Eg hotels (save 1.5%), Aldi (save 0.5%), strata levies (save 1-2%).

And a great pleasure it was for me as well. I hope you got home safely mate
I'll be sure to send you a coded message if your self described holy grail is achievable. ;)
And I won't be backward about it

Great use of the card today:
Booked a PER - SYD domestic flight at my local travel agent with a price match and avoided the usurious ~$7.00+ CC fee that QF charges for payment online.
Westfield XS card at its best IMHO (and a local business gets a sale it otherwise wouldn't have got).

New rules in regards to concierge purchase, as of yesterday.

Must note down personal details if you purchase even just one card of $500 or more, management permission required.

Email sent to all Westfield concierge locations yesterday.

I even saw the email, quietly giving it a read as my details were written down.

Strange that. I literally just bought some cards yesterday at the concierge. And the lady told me that only anything above $2000 will be checked (which happened to me).
I guess stuff is trickling down now!

Fabulous report. Thanks.

Clearly to reduce or avoid fraud.

If you arent doing this then you shouldnt have a problem.

Some of the concierge chicks are pretty cute too ;)

Reports of not east fields most interesting as an unusually helpful telegraphic CSR told me recently that their system was changing during the week as well.
All I can say is: it's a great bill paying card. Avoids CC fees. Play the game fairly and the game will continue.
Too many cows in plate shops will see changes that make it not viable for ALL parties.

Edit for clarity

Exactly. If you are playing by the t and c ( read them) then there should be no problems.

Today my concierge, completely unprompted, mentioned that they were investigating people using gift cards at Australia Post to pay bills. This was after she'd written down my license number and name for an amount over $500, and after the standard disclaimers about Coles and Myer not accepting the cards. I've only been using gift cards for purchases where Amex isn't welcomed (Subway, Grill'd, etc.), and I mentioned this while saying they were great for smaller purchases where credit cards weren't always welcomed. Still not sure if she was trying to be helpful or accuse me of something...

My understanding is that they are not entirely pleased with this phenomenon but there is no prohibition on it in the T&C so they are powerless to act.

I don't understand why they would care if you were using the EFTPOS card to pay a $500 bill by EFTPOS at the PO or if you were buying $500 worth of stamps at the PO?

It wouldn't be hard to shut this down if they wanted to, I can think of a couple of solutions off the top of my head.

They do have the power to decide if they want to sell them or not.
