Yeah I has some serious issues today with my flat screen . Two different PO and neither could load my tv I tried to buy another tv but didn't work only one per customer . I then opened up another under my wife's name which worked but account has been flagged and is monitored for future activity . Pretty risky this one

Flat screens, tvs, monitors... It's all beginning to make sense.

I think the message here is to be a leeeeetle discreet.

Circular transactions in the same time and place make it easy to see what's going on. Me, well I bought a new pair of walking shoes this morning. 'Nuff said.

Can't pay ANZ CC Bill off at PO (tried today).

Thanks.

Twas worth a try. If you look on an earlier post with a link to PO web site there is a list of banks. That bank (the Gallipoli bank anyone?) isn't on it

Nevertheless very very much worth a try. A lot of stuff here has been found by just such trial and error.

I see one of the spoon feeders has gone and done exactly what I suggested he didn't.

Another forehead slapping face sound.

There are plenty of warnings on this thread and in private about what will attract attention. It shouldn't be necessary to try for yourself.

Oh and someone recently asked me in a PM about the reference, now removed, to the three red sausage bank.
Can you PM me again please.

May I suggest that we all let the cow in china shop blunderings both in private and public go unanswered and ignored. Of course everyone is free to make their own judgements just as I did and have.

The post above shows how much insight and finesse there isn't in his approach.

Cruiser: coins mate. Or the car keys.

And two things: can we have a dislike function. And can we vote people off the island somehow?

Or my wife is always saying to always putting a positive spin on things. So here is version 2 of my last post:

"Thanks Shayne for helping us establish the boundaries of use of some of the various flat screen TVs. It is fantastic how much help you are giving us"

There. I feel better now

can't believe this discussion is still going on lol. i'm sure everyone has enough to go on now?

Some people take longer than others. And there is so many different methods to use the XS card for payments its alot to take in.

So, has anyone found a way to buy these things in a way that Amex classify as "supermarket" spend? That would be the holy grail...

Anyone know of any Not east fields that have pay pass?

Do you mean the cards, or the terminals at -east that let you tap to transact...

I don't think there are any -east cards that have pay (not)fail

The answer is no on both accounts. I don't know why you would want contactless payment, but that is another story.

Firstly contactless payment is designed for small transactions. Westfield use Tyro Payments, and AFAIK they all use the Xenta terminal which doesn't allow for contactless payment. If they did have the newer terminals, then there would be a $100 limit anyway.

The Westfield XS cards are EFTPOS cards. No EFTPOS card has contactless payment*. You must swipe the card and use the PIN on the back of the card for every transaction.

* The only exception is VISA and MC cards issued by a bank, in which case they aren't really an EFTPOS card, they are a VISA or MC which has a "savings" account, which works on the EFTPOS network. In this case, contactless payment only works for credit transactions, not EFTPOS / Savings transactions.

A certain orange bank that gives 5% off pay wave till end of FY perhaps?

Ahhh, of course :p

Unfortunately I don't have one of those. Either way, it would be a little strange buying thousands of dollars of gift cards in $100 increments. Some other interesting opportunities exist for those with that card however.

I would advise To avoid managing telegraph transactions and multiple transactions over the same day . Is there a way to use a corporate account online to double dip such transactions .

Bought a Load N Go travel card the other day. No problems at all using XS. Just said pay by EFTPOS, swiped the card myself, select savings and way to go.
