Credit Card Offers Westpac Altitude Black offers: 120,000 Qantas or Velocity Points (expires 30/4/25)

Just been approved for this card with 120 QFF points, great deal for only $50 & no annual fee apart of the home loan package. Be great if it still had the Amex card attached for larger points earn.

This thread hasn't been updated for quite a while, and I couldn't find another recent thread about the Westpac Altitude Black card offers, so thought I'd bring it back to life.

Westpac currently has 120K points offers on its Altitude Qantas Black and Altitude Velocity Black cards. You get 90,000 points if you spend $6K within 120 days of approval, and another 30,000 points if you keep the card more than a year.

There's also an offer on the Westpac Altitude Rewards Black card for 150,000 bonus Altitude points, plus a reduced annual fee in the first year, but those points aren't as valuable as 120K Qantas/Velocity points.

All offers expire 30 April 2025.

Important to remember there's now a 24 month exclusion period for the sign-up bonus.

Yes indeed, a very good point!

Here's the exact wording from the Westpac website:

Existing Westpac customers who currently hold an Earth Classic, Earth Platinum, Earth Platinum Plus, Earth Black, Altitude Classic, Altitude Platinum or Altitude Black credit card, or who have held one in the last 24 months, are not eligible for this offer.

Don't forget now a 2 year exclusion period.

Any recent experience on the time for points to land after hitting the spend?
Need to get to PCP, membership year ends 28/02/25

Also, having a Westpac business choice card in the last year or so wouldn’t make me ineligible here? That card is seperate from the exclusion criteria?

My experience on the Westpac platinum was that the points hit with the first statement (met the spend within a week of getting the card).

I have applied, been approved and hit the spend recently, will post back with how quick the points arrive, the second-month billing cycle due soon and have hit the $6K spend.

Exceeded the $6k eligible spend in 1st month, no bonus points on the 1st statement.

Maybe coincidence but I've previously had bonus card points appear when I PAY a statement balance; that didn't happen.

Read somewhere, but can't find it now, about activating the lounge passes with a small spend on qantas carbon offset or similar.
Anyone know if this is possible?

In a case of pure coincidence, I just did a BPay to cover the first month's spend yesterday (because they lost the paperwork to do an auto debit from my bank account - and yes it is a paper form that has to be lodged at a branch).

The 90K QFF points arrived the same day. Appears like this on the QFF website.
