Was this from a invite?

Did you call them or anything i received the invite but have not hassled them just waiting it out.

Wondering when i might receive them in the mail.

got mine today. I think the card is the invite. You want it you activate it. You don't want it you cut it! I just got the info letter a few weeks back then straight to card. No calls no nothing

I hadn't done anything after receiving the initial letter and the card just arrived as well, but not for the sup holder, need to activate this card then apparently the sup cards will be created and then sent out. Not an idea process as we will be away when the other card arrives and I'm not sure how long the existing one will be be useable??

I just got them in a pack that said, basically, activate or cut up. Now waiting on additional cards for husband because the old cards deactivate in 30 days.

Altitude Black for me too. Free with Premier Pack.

I had to go in and ask for it though...as I dictched my Westpac cards when the KF Card was devalued.

Rang yesterday about black. They checked and said I wasn't on the system to be getting the card automatically, but they said looking at my account they saw I would be affected by the point caps (different to the initial letter they sent me which said I wouldn't be affected).

I will now be sent the black cards along with the offer.

I was looking at the earth platinum card details on the westpac website yesterday. The points earning has been reduce to 1 point per $. I don't recall being advised of any such change. Has anyone else been notified of reduced earning?

Platinun is the new gold. Plat plus was the 1.5 points per $ card but now it's the black.

It happened when they renamed the levels. i.e. When Gold got renamed Platinum, and Platinum got renamed as Platinum Plus.

Thanks. I'm still working in the old money and forgot about the platinum plus change.

I received my notification in my last statement.

Currently have the Altitude Qantas Platinum Amex/Visa combo and have still not received any correspondence from Westpac advising of any changes re points capping! Do they have to give me notice? Should I expect to be changed over to Black at the same annual fee - credit limit is $19,000

We got told the same on March 26th - still not received any cards

received my cards in the mail today. I've never made contact with Westpac about getting them. Not complaining just pointing out for those who are deciding on whether to wait, use the online product switch or request via phone etc. Looks like I stay on my current card limit below $18K woooohooooo as there's no mention of an increase or requirement to increase.

Did you ever get any notification about points capping being applied?

hmmm just thinking.......I purchased a holiday on my platinum card for later this year. I guess the insurance will be from the platinum card when I switch to Black or will it be converted to the Black policy??? Might be a call to Westpac to confirm I guess.

Ok just read the information provided with the card that "If your existing card is an Altitude Platinum Plus credit card (including PB Platinum Plus), there will be no change to your existing complimentary insurance covers should should you except the Altitude Black"

Got my black cards in the mail on Wednesday. As per others, no invite, just a nice package with a letter saying activate or cut up. My previous was plat plus visa amex combo.
Now I have a MC amex combo in black and uncapped.

On activation, I happened to glance at the browser address bar and saw an address that flicked quickly, but contained the words Credit Increase Offer. The next page was simply the thanks for activating screen.
Will be interested to see if I get an increase letter, but at 25k+, probably dont need it.
