What are the requirements for the flight dispatcher job in Australia?

We don’t have dispatchers in Australia. We do have flight operations roles and these are frequently advertised Jobs

Most would require in depth knowledge and experience of Australian conditions and regulations (such as CASR Parts 119 and 138 respectively) to the extent any overseas qualifications would not be of use. Some of these jobs require 12 hours shifts.
Thanks so much for the reply! Looking at some guys on LinkedIn I see they have Faa licenses so I was assuming it was a co-authority environment like here. Never easy to find dispatch information so I appreciate the reply.

Following up, I do see this was partially answer before. Sorry for the redundancy!

FAA is the US one.
CASA or Airservices is the Aus one.
If you are from o/seas, you will need to be sponsored.
If gov employed, need to have Aus citizenship.
Some on here are av geeks or backseat pilot wannabees, some of (not me) do work for the airlines.
We on here are are gratis.
If you are really keen, contact the airlines HR section, or CASA or Airservices Aus.
We went through this whole thing not so long ago.

Then you will need AviationSecIC, or ASIC Aus card.
