What cheeses me off

I would suggest the issue with your example is capability to drivers to understand the road rules and think.
No, I think the issue for me is the coughpy highways we have in Tas - esp the Tasman Highway up the east coast, where I live. Narrow ( and no shoulders), winding and for many km absolutely unsafe to pass anything, let alone with 1.5m to spare. Also the west coast, although fewer cyclists there.

* Yes, definitely highways - Tasman Highway A3 NE of Hobart to St Helens and through into Launceston ( very popular with cycling tourists), Lyell Highway A10 in the west. There are not classed as ‘National Highways’ but certainly called Highways.

WCMO is BA. Locked lots of accounts and says refer to e-mail/letter. No e-mail/letter received. Says to change password. Changed password, doesn't work still. Called in - said they have to manually request it is unlocked, could be up to a week or two to do.

Guess I won't be booking those flights I needed to, then. Ridiculous.

Mrs FB received the e-mail, so at least I know what incorrect info that has:

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Yeah hamburger not working on my android tablet anymore either so i just bookmarked community directly instead of navigating to it.

Between these glitches and the crazy uplift in ads taking up almost the whole screen it is pretty hard to use AFF now except on the laptop where there is more real estate to play with.

I just attempted to add the above quote and the "Add quotes" button is under an advert so I had to muck around with the page to get the advert to change.

On the laptop the adverts in between posts keep changing which causes the posts to keep jumping around when the page adjusts to the advert. I have to keep chasing the post I am reading. Increasingly I cannot be bothered, so close the site.

And yes I know I can pay to not see the adverts but I do not get paid to make contributions that are the reason the site exists - not to provide adverts.

But most sites have ads at the top and bottom or left/right side. AFF is the only forum where you have screen top, screen bottom, imbedded ads between posts, 2-3 ad windows on the right-hand side and sometimes also one that floats around so you cant even type a sentence (or select an item from the pull down without scrolling back to the top of the forum). Certain ads render the site completely unusable on mobile/tablet.

It has gotten significantly worse since the change of ownership, a colleague of mine who works in online marketing said the strategy is likely to capitalise on accidental ad clicks - when the ads are so intrusive there is a high degree that user will accidentally click on an ad that will generate revenue even though the user had no interest in the ad.

#WCMO is 6-8 weeks to process a passport renewal, plus the massively high additional fee charged for renewing outside of Australia.
They are still quoting 4-6 weeks but AusPost told me they were being processed in about 10 days. I got a message on business day 4 after submission that my passport was on its way back to me.
