What cheeses me off

Hmmm… 1 min 54 s for the video on timelapse? I’m pretty sure the ‘grab both corners, dive into the duvet cover and let it fall down’ approach is about 3 or 4 mins quicker :D
Find it quickest to wash the covers inside out. Then put your hand inside the (inside out) cover and find the corners, with one hand in each corner, grab the corners of the doona and then shake down the cover. Quickest method, when we periodically have to change them at our holiday house/Airbnb (11 to do).

Because our quilt is too large to do this. I've used clips to hold the corners in place but it's always a fail.

I use Dajop's approach but use 2 clothes pegs when I turn it over the quilt. Just stick them on the outside top seam of the quilt/cover to hold it in place as I pull the cover over and down. Quick shake and all done quickly.

Similar to you @Pushka but I use Mr Flyfrequently to hold the corners in place, and that's usually a fail - but we do have a good laugh!
And after nearly 50 years, I still use Matron's method of changing pillow slips.

I have a few today. Must be end of FY.

Biggest one. Accountants that assume they know everything about your circumstances. Without asking or advising. New Accountants (taking over old accountants business) who do things differently it seems, they make significant tax decisions (eg company distribution change) because they think it's the most tax effective but which has other implications they may not be aware of, they don't tell you your options, then you sign off because you are of the expectation that the distributions as recorded by you are what have been inserted into your tax return. And you find out 12 months later. I HATE surprises.

'How did we do' surveys. Australia Post. Big deal. They managed to deliver the parcel that someone paid then to deliver. Then others. You start in good faith thinking it's a two question survey then several minutes later, at which point you terminate, while they ask you completely irrelevant questions. IKEA, I'm looking at you!

People who do not know how to merge onto motorways/freeways in heavy traffic.

Wait until the end of the lanes merging before actually merging. There are no prizes for merging early.

If you merge short of the end then cars behind you can and will end up merging in front of you.

Similarly, those who don't know how to zip-merge. One car from the left and then one from the right into a single lane.

In addition, those who don't know how to enter a flowing freeway. Get up to 110kmph and simple slide into a suitable space. Don't stop at the enterance of the freeway and hope that you can get to freeway speed from your standing start.

Appreciate this but you still have to make sure there is a gap to slip into. It's been modified now but there is the SE Freeway into Adelaide of just two lanes which in the mornings, has both lanes jam packed. There is no way to force yourself in without having caused those on the freeway to break. There is no room for them to move to the right lane as that is packed too. So yes, what you suggest is correct, but our roads don't always make this possible.

AGL. Turns out that if you have a Government issued seniors card you get a lower rate for electricity and just maybe be eligible fo the QLD Govt rebate. but you need to have your senior card number in your account.
So try online and it says you can message us, use chat or call.
Try messaging. no matter what you put in it reverts to the same information page.
Try Chat. They asked what do you want to do? Add a senior card to my account. I don't understand just bush one of the buttons below. One says help and one says information press either and it goes back to the same information page.

Why not just say call as it really is the only option. Not really wanting a call centre experience so I ring. go through the first few inputs and it says I need to send you an SMS. Ok and then you need to reply to the SMS to input your number. First time I didn't have time so it reverted to an operator with no way to continue with another attempt. So I went through the process again and submitted the number. To be greeted by the message we are having operational difficulties and can't complete the process so through to the operator.

Despite my misgivings the call was answered quickly from the Phillipines and quite quickly all done.
So ratings. Call Centre 10, AGL IT systems 0.

So this CMO. Seniors card won't cut it in SA. Have to have DVA or Centrelink benefit card.

Only in winter. Well yes, even then too hot for some 🤣

WCMO - make an extensive shopping list for supermarket. butcher, greengrocer (yes I'm one of those that chooses to support the locals) so I could do prepare meals for a few days (and then leave the list home and you have to go out again)

Even if you don't like keying in your shopping list to your phone, you could always photograph the paper list to avoid such occurrences again (and, in the process, look techno-hip in the shops). ;)

and you know most times I do take a photo but of course today was the day that I didn't - It just wasn't meant to be. I actually should find a shopping list app (adds to do list)

OneNote, it even gives you tick boxes you can use.. quite handy. Finally even got Mrs FB using it.

Here's a funny one. Not really.

I've been paying golf fees monthly past 12 months. They use GoCardless.

Early June received new invoice for next year's membership fees and is mentioned if you have monthly agreement in place this will continue.

Didn't think too much about it. Receive email from GoCardless this morning they will take full payment for the entire membership from my bank account tonight. What?

Called golf club and apparently I'm not the only one with this issue. They need to send me a direct debit form and for me to sign and return as previous agreement has expired.

Now I find that GoCardless has just taken full membership fees from my bank account and my bank account is overdrawn and CBA wants funds in by midnight.

I really have zero trust in any business. Did GoCardless receive my signed consent to take this money? I don't care what sort of arrangement they have in place with golf club but they've fraudulently taken funds from my bank account without my permission.

Now wasting time trying to sort this out with bank as there's no way I'm paying full membership fees up front.

Give me the days where we did everything in person and with cash. This is not convenience. This is stressful.

Not sure if you have similar available in Australia, but in the UK what I like about one of the banks I use (app-only bank) is that the day before the direct debit is going to come out (or where a scheduled payment into your account is about to hit), it shows the amount as pending on the next day so you have at least 24 hours notice it's coming (out or in). Really useful and has allowed me to catch something that was about to go out and promptly block/cancel it so it could be sorted and done properly.
