I believe it was short notice because of unexpected structural defects found in the car park.

Ditto Ride Share meet location at Domestic. From the Virgin terminal, there are no signs pointing to 'ride share'. Signs say 'Priority pick-up'. So you google it, and it turns out that's where the Ubers etc will meet you. Its a hike.

Why not sign 'Ride share' like everywhere else?

There is also no ride share signals exiting LST and they arent even doing construction I had to ask, also a hike.

I'd like to see an Uber stand at SYD like they have at MEL, taxi line is mostly empty these days and priority pick up always packed. It's clear what flyers use more.

And I haven't googled anything to do with dentists, teeth, gum or implants so nonsensical as to why AFfF would serve these ads.

The same way I keep getting dating site ads when I visit football/soccer news websites. It has nothing to do with browsing history or recent searches. They just show what makes them more money.

But there's one thing that I've mastered and get better and better all the time. I detest advertising. Abhor is probably a better word especially the deceptive advertising. I have become very good at ignoring ads. I have zero interest in viewing ads on the miniscule chance the ad will appeal to me. Main reason I stopped watching television. I don't need someone to tell me what to buy. If I want to buy something I'll research what's available.

I dont click on or choose to watch ads either but this revolting dental one takes up whole buttom of AFF page with disgusting image you cant unsee.i dont have this issue browsing anywhere except AFF, on FB you can report offensive adds here no way to do so that i can see.

Ads are easily avoided on free to air tv, just record show and watch on 15 min delay so you cant fast fwd through ads, and no ads when watching streaming.

Most websites have a banner at top or sides which are easily ignored. AFF ad space has been growing so that there are ads top, right, bottom, in between posts and random pop ups and floating ads that take over screen,sometimes demading you rotate to portrait, from landscaoe. No way to easily close when hour typing mid sentence.

WCMO is that every car I've rented in Ireland they seem to have disabled Android Auto / Apple Play. The car definitely supports it for the cars I've had so maybe their way of forcing the GPS add on payment? Every other country I've rented cars in (I'd say 20+ now), no issues... multiple Car rental companies too, so can't even pin it on just one.

At time of pickup I specifically asked was it Apple Car Play compatible - agent response was ‘If it’s not it has inbuilt Nav System’ - my response was ‘I do not want inbuilt Nav System I want ACP ‘ - she then checked and yes ACP comp.

It paired ok after deleting some other devices but we just could not get display working - useless but no attempt to upsell

Have not had the displeasure of driving a Renault as you described @Cruiser Elite.
We have a Toyota Camry Hybrid getting ready for delivery 25 months after we ordered it. Now that did cheese us off.

Ads are easily avoided on free to air tv, just record show and watch on 15 min delay so you cant fast fwd through ads, and no ads when watching streaming.

When I stopped watching TV in 2008 most decent movies/series were already removed from free to air TV. Since I've stopped I've realised there's nothing on free to air TV worth watching. It's just one boring reality program after another. No thanks.

With YouTube I watch what I want to watch. I research what I want to research. Ads are annoying but I don't have to watch them.

Easy solution. Take out a subscription to support AFF. No ads on any device. Dental ads gone.
