WCMO is selfish smokers.

As a non smoker i am very sensitive to cigarette/cigar/vape smoke. Boarded QF12 about 20 mins ago, went to the toilet to change into my Qf PJs and it reeks like an ashtray. Someone on the incoming flight must have been naughty and lite up in the toilet and the cleaners haven't been able to get rid of the smell.

Hope the FAs knew who it was and reommend a lifetime ban. Filthy habit which has now interred with comfort of passengers on following flights.

There are allegedly “smoke detectors” in the lavs.

Without sounding gross, perhaps the previous occupant had eaten something smoked? Or just reeked as they did an outfit change.

When you get your bills emailed to you and it's so damned hard to pay them.

Rates: the website isn't linked or even listed in the email or bill.
Water: the same. Rego, the same and you have a credit card fee just to insult you even further.

Surely there should be a link to a pre-filled web page where you only have to enter the credit card number?
And the email for the receipt to be automatically sent.

And having to "prove you're a human" exercises to pay a bill is simply pathetic.

May have not been someone smoking in the toilet but a smoker who used the WC perhaps just before you. If so it is not illegal annoying as it may be. Often can smell smoke in lifts etc if a smoker has been in there before me.

I was one of the first to board and first to go to the toilets to change, most were still boarding. I know cigarette smoke when I smell it. Used the other toilet in flight which had no such odour.

WCMO is book a long weekend away incorporating a status run via Amex Travel (to use $450 travel credit) during the QF DSC promo; and QF change schedule whilst your overseas with no way to call Amex Travel at affordable rate.

So I call today, as the revised flights offered break QFs MCT rules (only 59 minutes for Int to Dom at MEL) and the other alternative is 9 hour connection in MEL. I'm pushing for a flight in between the one that breaks MCT and the one that will have me going stir crazy for 9hours. Seems odd not to have been offered the middle flight given they are still selling J seats on that flight.

I'm still owed some SCs from last years DSC period where schedule changes and upgrades confused QF.

If booked directly I know status would come into play, but with the new rules re use of the annual travel credits I was struggling to find another trip to use it on.

I use Skype Credits, get a pretty good rate for most numbers. Then just use Skype app to call.

Anyway, back on topic, WCMO is kid started day care literally a week ago and I've already caught the first of many-to-come day care bugs

Email really should have been an acceptable method to confirm and correspond re changes but only offered over the phone in AU business hours which with time differences made it impractical even without cost issue.

Anyway just got a call back with a better flight offer, but I still need to move another flight on a separate pnr as can't make that connection due to change.

Yeah. We are gradually closing our business down and will suggest to him in a month or so that our Business income will not require such extensive 'analysis'. This didn't include a pre FY evaluation of the dividends position which we did not ask for (there was some fee due but not what he charged)

I do my own book keeping (impeccable I might add) and my accountant charges me a little over 1/5th of yours - and I believe that’s too much….

I get more or less the same amount for my personal income tax return (again, I have all the documentation etc aligned with what’s already in the ATO portal….)….

Do you have trusts etc? We have one which has no other function than simply being there.

Daughter didn't take to day care so we missed all the fun.

Currently on her 10th viral infection since February. Not good as wife has caught 3 of daughter's infections but luckily I've missed out.
