What cheeses me off

.................. is when you choose a car parking space which is way way away from other vehicles parked at a supermarket carpark or something similar and you return to your car and find some dude has parked right beside it and so close you can hardly open your door! You look around and think WTF there is like 100 acres of free parking spaces and you have to park right beside me?

They know who you are?

Buying stuff online and the item was picked from a store instead of the warehouse. Open said item and found a security tag still attached. Latest item is a duvet cover.

……………… are those clowns who will not pull up to the furthest pump at a petrol station allowing a second car to pull up to the first pump and both can fill at same time.
Related to this, sometimes I feel bad when there are 2 pumps in a line but I had to use the back one because only that one has 98.

Qantas ‘Priority’ boarding.
Seems like my last 2 flights half the plane was Gold and up due to DYKWIA queuing 5 mins before the gate opened. Fully paid business class seat and I was last priority schmuck to board.
Bring on the US group boarding system.

When you’re clearly doing the edges in preparation for mowing the lawn, and despite there being heaps of other parking in the street, the bloke in the dual-cab has to park in front of my place …

Trying to change phone number in my QFF account. So they send code to the number I no longer have and am trying to change. Their solution. Ring us and wait hours to get through.

I use Google Authenticator for Qantas MFA (and a few other companies) which is a far better, and more secure, option than SMS. Often when overseas the SMS doesn't get through but Authenticator works anywhere on any device with an internet connection (can also work offline) , so not tied to a single phone number.

Going to a card only machine at the self checkout at supermarkets. Then you go to pay and a please select method of payment screen pops up.
This B machine is card only.
They should really be called cashless machines as they also take gift cards including e-gift cards.

This would be the usual reason someone parks short at first pump.

The larger stations usually have enough room between Aisles to fit three cars so you can still get past and pull in front of them anyway.

I often find myself alone at the second pump after the car I pulled in behind leaves.

As to Authenticators I went to the link and under similar apps it had Microsoft authenticator. has a better rating than the google one and a couple of reviews suggesting it is better than google. Has anyone used the Microsoft product?

UTAS, therefore I use it for their accounts. Works OK - as in, as it should.

I use both depending on which platform the organisation employs. They seem to be pretty equal in terms of function and ease of use.
Microsoft use their authenticator app for Office365, Teams, Outlook etc naturally, and Qantas, MYOB, my Super company, and a few other accounts I have, require Google.

Will be looking into the authenticator methods above, thanks!

As someone who has recently had their phone nicked whilst overseas, companies that only allow one method (usually SMS) to authenticate are driving me nuts. FFS allow multiple methods

This is one thing Qantas got right. I use authenticator for MYOB, Qantas and my super fund. But when I changed phones I had to use the first phone to register the second one. Maybe I could have done this without it?

Have had someone park so close to the drivers side car door that I had to get in from the passenger side. I was wondering if I would be on candid camera doing the contortions to get into the drivers seat.
that really cheeses me off
