Ok what time do you retire each eve? I am awake 04:00 to 04:20 every morn with lights out 23:00 - just cannot sleep any longer - wish I could but such is life

Yes as we found out when we complained about the smoke drift from one of our apartment neighbours smoking his cigar for an hour or so each early evening on his balcony (he has recently cut it down to only 3-4 nights a week). He obviously doesn't think it is anti social so there we are, we get to grin and bear it.

My neighbour, one floor down and two across likes to smoke marijuan_ I don’t mind cigarette smoke, I’m old enough to remember smoking in restaurants, public transport and planes. But weed makes me nauseous Only does it in the evenings, and as soon as I smell it I jump up to close the balcony door. I have wondered if I give him a bell he could ring it before lighting up??

My first ever apartment and first ever contact with body corporate was getting approval for my curtains. Really? Apparently so. I asked them for the guidelines of what’s acceptable, they didn’t have any. Said i need to buy them first, put them up, and then seek approval. I bought them, sought approval, but supposedly not good enough. Needless to say they’re still there!

Otherwise they’re pretty good!

As for laundry outside, it doesn’t worry me. Growing up in Asia it’s a pretty common site.

But… I digress. Was coming to say that WCMO is packaging that absolutely prevents you from retrieving the last of the product from its container! Ridges, nicks, waffling for package strength… and you cannot get the last of it out! Annoying

They'd have some kind of tracking device surely? Why aren't the company owners compelled to have vans with trailers like the siupermarkets do, to go and collect them? (well they would need a lot of trailers but...)Or why can't local councils do the same and then fine the company? Like when your car gets towed from a Clearway, you get a fine for the iparking nfringement and on top have to pay the impound fee to get your car? I say this because in the distance of about 3k in my area, yesterday I counted 8. Eight?Since I go past every day I can confirm they lie around for at least a week

I'm sure they're meant to pick them up regularly, but often they don't.

Well, I might have picked up the smell on my clothes and would not know.

I can’t get a grasp of what it smells like. I can smell other things - food etc sewerage and the like so not a smell issue.

I barely smelt any walking around Amsterdam in April, pretty chilly weather at the time. Yet in New York and San Francisco, I smell it everywhere, and I find it quite revolting.

You are not alone. My partner regularly says this or that person or place reeks of marijuan_, but I have no clue.

Depends, normally some time between 10-11pm. I can get by on minimal sleep, I just prefer not to when I have nothing better to do!

I wondered the same thing. We didn't really go through airports until a couple of weeks later. So I'm still not sure.
