What cheeses me off

Thin people who have never gained a pound in their lives commenting on bigger people weight. They have no idea how difficult it is to loss weight (never mind keep if of) so what gives them the right to comment!
While I don’t think it’s valid to comment on anyone’s weight at all, full-stop; I also don’t know how you can assume a relatively thin-looking person (in clothes) isn’t just a fat person trying to get out. I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life, and via clothing & continually fighting the desire to eat/drink/consume/etc I’ve mostly kept it under control … and as a fat person, I feel I’m qualified to comment on fat-people issues, and do find it at least mildly annoying when others have assumed I’m not just because I’ve mostly kept that particular demon at bay.

Now we get to people being referred to as old.
In a recent newspaper article a 64 year old woman was assaulted but survived the attack.
They called her elderly when she hasn’t even reached 67 to try to qualify for a pension.

At my biggest I was 139 kgs I lost 70kgs via a very low calorie diet. Then I put most of it back on. I then lost most of it again with WeightWatchers, who I worked for for a while. Then it went on again. Tried SlimmingWorld, WeightWatchers, Noom, LighterLife and a few others. My weight has gone up and down from around 127 kgs - 82kgs for most of the past 30 years.

What I find annoying is that there are people who can eat way more than me and never put weight on. Some of this will be genetics. However according to noon if you have two identical twins doing the same amount of activity, one who is 90kg and one at 100kgs. If the twin who weights 100kg looses 10 kgs he has to eat less calories than the twin who is and always was 90kgs to maintain the same weight.

New Singapore hotel technology . Took @love_the_life and I ages to work out how to turn off the lights. Dumb technology.
This is where I admit that while the concept of the washlet is great, and the resulting reduction in the need for the ickyness that is toilet-paper is also great, I wasn't game to give it a try because who knows maybe I was accidentally selecting the Core Sample Drilling setting or something ...

I love them. Husband hates them 😂

People so keen to avoid being held responsible that their first response to a question is "it's not covered by us". Well, that wasn't the question.
Body Corporate and Owners rep when asked the question "do I have to use a Body Corporate Approved tradie to service my air conditioner as he /she will be on common property when the work is done (it's on the roof). Response from both independently " air conditioners aren't covered by body corporate fees". Sigh. My reply, Yes, but that wasn't what I asked. My Next question, "how do I get access to the roof". Response from strata BC whom I loathe but am always polite. . "Through the stairway I think". My response, yes, but the keys you give us only allow access to the floor we live on. So I'm still no better off.
