What cheeses me off

Did I say truly unbelievable? Who am I kidding?

I started doing my bets late tonight. Missed the first race in Newcastle, UK by 15 minutes. The winner was a tip and a 2 point tip at that by one of the tipsters.

Note I will not miss any other bets tonight. The winning strike rate of the bets I miss is truly remarkable. I know it's not a random coincidence. And you know the funny thing is that as I checked the times the races were starting and saw Newcastle starting in 3 minutes I had a feeling I was going to miss a winning tip and I didn't disappoint.

And yes I know this has nothing to do with travelling but this goes a long way to explaining the unbelievable JohnK flight on time performance of less than 50% and high cancellation rate. It's almost like my subconscious knows what's going to happen and pushes me into the path of disaster. Just for fun. Just for curiosity.

WCMO is listening to Glenn Weir, Assistant Commisioner Police, nearly in tears apologizing for getting busted 'speeding' 8ks over...
We got the usual spin, speed is a killer, even low level....
HOWEVER, when the cops wanted a pay rise some time back, they threatened to not book people for low level speeding, and warn us of speed camera cars, and in the same sentence, told us it would not affect road safety.
WTF? this just proves its about revenue raising.

WCMO I thought was why the heck do we need a No UTurn sign in the Westconnex lanes going off towards the airport.
After watching way way way too many dashcam Australia episodes I fully aware and totally support the need for signage to be on the roads stating "wrong way " "no U turn " etc.

WcMO is woolworths sending you offers to shop but failing to have the things you usually buy and/or need in stock.
And when you always buy something as ‘your’ staple frequently but there’s a sale and there’s none left.

WCMO is Easter at my quiet little seaside village on the East Coast Tasmania.

Easter brings the full press of shackies and tourists and worst of all, their dogs. Everyone brings their dogs. The vacant block next to me now has got two caravans on it and five, count them, five dogs. Three yappy small ones, one big woofer and one lovely old girl who is just lovely to be near.

I roughly counted 13 dogs within one or two houses of me. Usually there’s just one.

Dogs are fine. Dogs are lovely, but dogs are unwelcome when they bark at the possums, any passerby, each other, from dawn until midnight.

What I really hate has been barked at when I’m simply walking around my own place by the visiting yappers next door. 😡

No bad dogs, just bad owners.
Not entirely sure about that.
Just like we a need for a licence for humans to breed, we also need a licence to own a dog. New neighbours, came with a dog, only dog in the area that barks at all hours (because it is let out to piss by its owner and left for an hour with roos in the bush). The rest of the community seems to have understood the basic issue.

Priorities.. I have encouraged our little hound to be wuffy because I think a wuffy mutt adds to our security.
In the evening, sometimes folks walk by , or wallabies hop and that sets off the wuffer.
If we had neighbours, they might prefer it quiet and dogless , just hoping the thieves break in somewhere else.
Once upon a time we had two large black gsd's, also very wuffy but would not hurt a flea.
It was amazing how many folks said there was no way they would jump over our gate.

well yeah, dogs bark and so thieves move on. But that CMO - to the extent that residents (see Rooflyer abv) need to put up with visitor dogs who think they own the place. We hv had a series of dogs, incl up the EC of Tas where we hv a shack, and we actively disabuse them of the idea the whole place is theirs.

Interesting in the past, our over the back neighbour had reported a ladder going from his backyard up to our first level (garage is below us) . He reported it as a concern to the police attended and asked him if he had seen us since the ladder had gone up
He hadn't seen us nor had he heard our dog who can be a tad vocal on occasions . Reason he hadn't seen us or the dog was due to the intense heat and humidity at the time . Police promptly came around to check that nothing untoward had happened and that we were ok
(Of course the officers were babies younger than my son !!) They actually came into our place to see that we were both ok and that our place was secure

The MH Golden Lounge (Satellite) in KUL is supposedly the best in the system.

And it does look lovely compared to when I was last in here (last time I had the green jewel).

But WCMO is that there's no guava juice. In fact, there's no fresh juices at all - just packet orange and apple juices.

What cheesed them off. 😂. Proxemic behaviour. Or lack of it. We laughed.

There is a huge expanse of water here to fish in. No need to worry about depth etc. Calm and still.

A group of three fishers enjoying the peace and quiet. Not much could be heard from them. Two guys and a woman.

Putter putter putter. We will drop anchor here methinks.

I cast further than that distance between them. And the couple. Yabber yabber yabber. We could hear them.

WCMO is the number of smokers in EU. And the number of places they can smoke. 🤬

Just shows how far AU has come without the sky falling in.
Agree, 100% Innsbruck station yesterday had a big sign. This is a no smoking station and there were still people smoking on the platform and nobody did anything about it.

In a way we're ok but there's nowhere to walk in the city without coming across the cigarette stench. People just walk out of office buildings and smoke on the footpaths. Not a good look.
