What cheeses me off

Whilst we are bashing supermarkets WCMO is the big 2 advertise items which, when you shop, are out of stock even on day one of the offer week. When the offer period finishes the shelves miraculously restock themselves!

We always ask for the manager and a rain check so the price sticks when stock comes in.

I've found the popular items that are usually low stock anyway and go on sale they're gone very quickly.

Maybelline Fit Me matte 220 is hard to find and even harder on sale.

Don't think Woolies does rainchecks.

Haven't tried Woolies (they not normally a problem for me) but have done it a few times with Coles. Especially with deep discounts like Coffee beans @1/2 price.

Not sure whether I am cheesed off, bamboozled or ???

Book a QF CR on CI from BNE-TPE-YVR.

For the last few months, can only select an ordinary unpaid Y seat all others blanked out which I accepted. If them's the rules, then OK.

Just entered the 48hr check-in window and all remaining seats are unblocked and accessible so I selected two "comfort seats" with a quoted price of $166 each. WooHoo! Scored a better seat and not so expensive (comparatively speaking). Completed check-in and get to last page and says seats confirmed but unpaid and then the web site bombs. So did I get seats or not??

I can't access manage my booking to look at it because CI don't allow any QF bookings to be "managed".

I went through check-in process again and it says I am checked in with the selected "comfort seats" then says seats unpaid and bombs again!

I called CI and was told just check-in online and it will ask for payment. No it doesn't it bombs!!! So the operator looks on-line and says you have a QF ticket so you can't select or pay for a better seat. But I I did just select them and confirmed. But she can't change it and she can't take payment.

I ask what is the solution, do I have the seats or not, how do I pay for them, and she says "I don't know, just go to the airport and ask them".

I then ask will CI through check my bags on another Skyteam carrier AM to MEX. She says "I don't know, go to the airport and ask them".

WTH!!! People like to complain about QF, but this morning takes the cake for me.

At least she was honest!!

I am sure there are some carriers where call centre staff just make stuff as they go along, or pretend to be doing or fixing something when either they aren't or have no idea what they are doing and worst case, stuff things up completely.

Someone has vandalised mum and dads fence in Sydney with graffiti. It would appear that owners are responsible for removing graffiti. Where are pensioners supposed to get the money to clean up graffiti?

She may not have known but not prepared to ask anyone, try and find out - it was dunnow bye (in Chinese accent).

I'm not confident a paint stripper is going to fully remove paint from textured brick. And then whos going to do it? Mum and dad? I'm in Brisbane.
A tradesman would seem the best option in circumstances (unless they have access to a kindly community volunteer group)
Doesn't seem to be any particular arm of government's responsibility
That's not to say I'm not sympathetic to your parents-deliberate damage to one's property can feel very distressing
