Oh maybe I’ll email them all now. I had to email them again and ask them what the fee was if the Taxi dropped me off on the first floor of the car park because I did a dummy booking for 15 minutes on the car park website and it was £19 But apparently you get 20 minutes for free that was another WTF momentNo, the other 30 respondents.
At Woolies, there are usually no loose grapes, always bagged. I take grapes out of the bag, but I don't eat them there. I don't want a kg of grapes, way too much for one person. In supermarket doing my shopping fruit and vege section
I watch as woman goes to each bag of grapes (unit price per bag)and pulls out a branch and starts to eat them. Then she puts a bag in trolley and keeps picking branches to add to her bag.
I was going to buy some grapes but changed my mind after this after her picky fingers had been everywhere (and I’d be shortchanged into the bargain). I communicated this too her
She said no worries ‘I’ll get you a full bag!!’
When I said what she was doing was wrong — ‘ that’s your problem not mine’ and moved on
I approached a manager later and explained
His response
I do the same - though usually do try one or two to check they are crisp and not soft ones.At Woolies, there are usually no loose grapes, always bagged. I take grapes out of the bag, but I don't eat them there. I don't want a kg of grapes, way too much for one person.
They are weighed at checkout and the price/kg applied. Whatever the contents of the bag, you only pay for what you get.
I see many people just grab any bag without checking. They do pretty much the same with any fruit/vegetables. I like to choose. In supermarket doing my shopping fruit and vege section

Because it minimises handling, damage, and therefore wastage.I see many people just grab any bag without checking. They do pretty much the same with any fruit/vegetables. I like to choose.
With grapes I dont like that the supermarket has pre-packaged the grapes. I may only want 500g or I may want 1.5kg. Also many of those bags have loose grapes. I prefer to choose my own grapes.
Also grapes used to come in boxes. Why do supermarkets pre-package grapes in plastic bags? Is it because the loose grapes in the box were never sold?
My Woolies Extra Perk is out of stock at the moment. Grrrr!Whilst we are bashing supermarkets WCMO is the big 2 advertise items which, when you shop, are out of stock even on day one of the offer week. When the offer period finishes the shelves miraculously restock themselves!
I know when I look for SPC Sliced Peaches this week that there will be nothing on the shelves. My Woolies Extra Perk is out of stock at the moment. Grrrr!
