What cheeses me off

Dashcams rule!

Not much help if you are hit from behind or on the side. 😥
I have them installed in all of my clients vehicles, but yes, shame on me, I should have been more insistent on doing the same for mine. Funnily enough, the only "accident" I had with my last car in the UK.. someone did the same. Sideswiped my bumper and took off. WP indeed.

Being kicked out the apartment we have been renting in Singapore for 15 years, so moving a building across in the same complex,

I could write an essay about #WCMO about the process and dealing with real estate agents and psycho landlords but I won't. In fact all if it's elevated in the realm of #WPMO than just #WCMO.

Today's is trying to change address with CommSec, which is just changing 3 numbers in my address. 15 years ago - no problems I changed from an AU address to here. Today, they want to lock my account as it is against their T&C to trade from outside of Australia. FFS you could have told me that 15 years ago.

I have traded on CommSec from outside even before I had my VPN which says I am in Melbourne.

Oh, I don't think that's the problem, it's the residency status that's the problem. But I have my foreign address logged with them (they actually entered it for me), am flagged as a non-resident for tax purposes and have been trading with them for 15 years with that status!

Anyway I think nab are a little more lenient and do allow non-residents to trade as long as you have a local bank account (which I do already with nab), so will move away from Commsec now.

Wearing boots inside I suppose?
but to be fair they were up and down the ladder and crawling around a small roof space so I don't have a problem with the boots. And one of the others when I asked if I could use their ladder to clean the ceiling fan in my bedroom did it for me. 🙏

WCMO is busses that don't pull another metre or so into bus bays to be fully parallel to the kerb, leaving the right rear corner of the bus hanging into the traffic lane.
Being away from the kerb also makes it a longer step down for the infirm

That's not the main problem. The drivers often pull in sufficiently for the steps to be quite close to the kerb, but just not quite far enough forward and just not quite straight enough to prevent the very rear corner of the bus protruding into the traffic lane, when there is usually a bit more space ahead of the bus in the bus-bay that the driver could use.

On a dual-lane road, it often causes drivers in the inside lane to veer slightly into the centre lane to be sure of clearing the bus, further disrupting following traffic.

There's a newly constructed portion of highway near me - separated, 2 lanes each way - through a town. There is a new bus bay. There is no way at all that a bus (or coach, as usually run on the route) can fit in - the cough always just out about 1/2 way into the lane. Brand new construction and "engineering".

Possibly by design. As drivers often don't let buses pull out (which appears to be a road rule in Victoria), if they block the lane they don't get impeded from pulling out without an extended wait so can continue on their way with minimal delay.

In our area they installed the new bus stops at the exit to the roundabouts right where two lanes merge into one. Add in buses that don't pull into these half-width bays fully and it completely stuffs traffic flow.

Looking to book SQ flights for Christmas for 3

SQ $3900

Flybuys $4215 but to be fair with 10x points that is effectively $4000 (I'd use this as we have $700 in one Flybuys account to offset airfares)

Webjet $4450 I am really struggling to understand how Webjet has gone downhill so badly. This is not isolated incident. I've seen similar with other carriers/routes on Webjet.

We are currently employing a temp and we have to log into the provider website to confirm hours etc. So I've tried logging in. Log in failed. Send them an email with screenshots etc.

Received reply - you have to log in with email address and the temp password. Ah yeah, No S Sherlock, you can see that's what I tried to do and that shows in the screenshot. The problem? There is no log in button for 'employers' just for the workers themselves.

Another issue Their website doesn't account for Australian time, so each time we have to click two links. One does the hours, the second to make sure it's entered as daylight hours and not nighttime hours so we don't get billed for overtime rates. Just do it better for users hey?
