Pattaya. We've stayed here a few times. It's close to golf bar so don't need to worry about taxi etc. Good price but that's what you get for low price.

@prozac it looked like problem with the lock not fitting into the door frame. Didn't need any power and door would open. Looks OK now. There's only laptop and passport in safe the rest is just clothes in luggage.

Saw the physio yesterday due to some ongoing back problems. I'd trained at the gym with my PT on Weds morning, and she was keen to hear what the physio said.

Anyway, he asked for some agility exercises to be added to my regime.

I trained with the PT again this morning, and she said she was grateful for his suggestion, and she was going to start doing some more agility work with her "other older clients".

I get it. LittleMissG is now 17. The other day she described someone who was 29 as "middle aged woman". MrsG and I asked what that meant for us. "You?!? You're just OLD!"

I've often wondered why media outlets feel the need to stick in a person's age - if a person'd been robbed oir injured in a traffic accident why do we need to know if they are 23 or 53?? My 2 star hotel in Pattaya has been reasonably quiet until yesterday. Now full of low quality Indian tourists.

Went to breakfast this morning before checking out and they're just walking around the buffet with plate in hand. FFS grab something and sit and eat without any cutlery.

Holiday Inn Extress next time. Hope their budget does not stretch that far.

Had another session with her yesterday. She gleefully told me about another client she was doing some agility work with.

Who had slipped somewhere due to a slippery surface, broken a shoulder or something ... but overall I got the impression this other person was likely 15-20 years older than me.

Oh well, I'll focus on the fact that my physio is happy with my regime of Pilates + Weights + Dog Walking.

WCMO is tours that only come airfare inclusive. As most AFFer's do, I want to be able to choose my own airline and class of travel and not be booked on group fares that do not earn SCs or points.

Generally if I'm off to Eurpoe or Latin America I stay away 4-7 weeks so often have significant independent arrangements I want to do around any small tour components. Often Im transiting multiple seasons and the included flights limit luggage to 15kgs so you know its LCC and impractical - i dont want to be doing laundry every 3rd day.

Really short-sighted not to allow unbundled fares.

The number of drivers ducking and weaving on big US freeways seems to have increased dramatically. Getting 5 cars in front of me when we are on the 405 freeway in Southern California makes little sense to me especially when we are going about 70 miles an hour. Have driven in this area for 46 years and I noticed the change.

There is an easy option, you just purchase your own airfare. Cruises are a good example, the 'cost' of the airfare is close enough to free anyway, so not really losing much if you wouldn't fly with the option they provide anyway.
