What cheeses me off

WCMO is Mark Taylor commentating on the Olympic diving competition.

I'm sure he is a really nice guy and a great cricketer but he adds no value to the commentary !
They rarely do..

Edited to add some of my exceptions:
Bruce McA - all sports
Lleyton/Jelena and Nick - tennis
Wall engineers F1 (😂) - cheeky - love listening to them

So I've been with Optus for 2 days and that's now 3-4 times where connection drops out entirely for 2-3 minutes without warning.

This used to happen with Circles.life as well but not as often.

Is this a chronic Optus issue or just me? You wouldn't want to be in the middle of a booking or payment.

Not IME. Are you in a metro area at the moment? It would be a PITA if you happened to live in an telco backspot.

As an aside, I’m getting drop outs using Flexiroam in BCN. Never experienced it before but quite annoying. Every few minutes but I suspect it’s the local network. Forcing it over to another network seems to fix it.

WCMO in supermarkets are the big carts the staff use for gathering items for on-line shoppers. Often thoughtless positioning in aisles & often those pushing them can't see over/around to see where they are going. FWIW when I see them in the fruit & veg section (in a non metro Coles), they seem to be picking from the selections that anyone would.
I hear you! And they act like they have the right of way and plonk their damn huge trolleys and leave no space for other shoppers looking for the same thing. We always have many of them when I shop.

WCMO is the high pitched male commentator on that event with the bikes. Rabbiting on about absolutely nothing and yelling at the top of his (high pitched) voice when he got a bit excited. Oh. And that event itself cmo also. What the heck is it?

I am currently watching/listening to it in Danish. It sounds as though Rasmus is about to give birth!!

I upgraded to Platinum - forgetting to get rid of gold and now have gold and plat for next twelve months concurrently🤦‍♀️
Hi Martine, Thank you for letting us know that you had a double membership running. Double banners can look pretty impressive, but it's a bit costly, so we have fully refunded you your Gold membership and stopped the payment subscription for it.

Good points @eastwest101. My problem is trying to keep costs down for maximum return.

Home NBN is $70-$80/month plus $25 phone for me + $25 wife phone for unlimited phone calls to Thailand.

New Optus plan is $69/month for me + $25 wife phone for unlimited phone calls to Thailand. This plan goes up $20/month in 12 months time so need to shop around again.

In my mind any saving is a good saving.
I've just splashed out the $2 for a Sim from a shop and ported my number when I wanted it done. Never had an issue. Asking/telling the Telco to delay the port to a specific time is likely outside of their offered capabilities.

Chrome - they rolled out an update a while ago that removed the ability to just click the X next to a download, to remove it from the list on the downloads page. What doesn't cheese me off? People were obviously complaining, as in the update pushed out this week it is back! Was annoying having to click the menu and then remove that way, but it's now back to a single click. Happy Friday :)

Appreciating there is a need to prevent the destruction of wildlife through feral cats. Ok. Got that out the way.

The SA local councils group (who are starting to totally outreach their powers that they are needed for) have now a centralised system of dog and cat registration. Fine. Dogs have to be paid for. Cats don't.

We acquired our cat from our son who lived in UK. Cat is 15 years. I know cat is desexed. I know he is chipped. We bought him from a good breeder. The registration process was not required a couple of years ago so he's a new entry. I didn't even know this system existed. Our cat never goes outside.

So, I've tried to register him. As a new owner. Use my email to create an account. "This email is already in use. Log in". Well, I know it hasn't been registered before. Of course when I try then to log in, and use a password, I get the error message, "wrong password". Sigh. Click forget password. "Error message. This email is unknown". It's the same email as the one I used previously. 😫.

So I create an email on Gmail. Register as a new owner. Enter my DOB. Message "this DOB and address is already registered". Of course it isn't. So I make up an address, our office address. Change my DOB. Use another email. Create account. Ok, they send a temporary password. Finally comes in. Change the password. Try log in again. Message - we've just sent an email to complete log in with an authority code. It's been 15 minutes. I haven't received it yet.

How much has the state Government or maybe council rate payers paid, to create a completely dysfunctional website that won't solve any problems to do with those feral cats who will never be registered anyway.

I think cat owners should have to pay to register same as dogs (if not more), given cats do much more harm to local wildlife than dogs. Dogs are easy to contain in a yard, too many cat owners let their cats roam outside (not in a cat run as a responsible owner would do) free to kill birds, small marsupials etc.

Maybe but ours doesn't leave the inside of the house. People wouldn't even know we had one. Anyway if there's going to be a fee - for dogs and cats - then get the damn registration website working! 😂

Just like feral dogs, cats on the prowl and killing wildlife are mostly young entire males that are not chipped.
Making everyone pay a fee may tick some feel good boxes but the problem will not be diminished at all.
A trouble maker who managed to scale our cat fence to enter, was trapped and taken to a receiver.
When I asked if they would check for a chip, they said..of course.. but the vast majority of trapped troublemakers
handed in are entire males, unchipped.
