What cheeses me off

Cheesed off at myself.

Forgot to generate a QR code for my Eurail pass this morning (I have a Eurail pass valid continuously for three months, not a flexi pass where you have certain number of days to use in a period - but regardless of whether it's continuous or flexi you still have to generate a QR code for each day of travel) .

And got “controllered” and received a CHF 100 ($175) fine.

Have now set up my next week of travel in advance, generating QR codes for each day. Annoying.

I am currently waiting to see specialist. The rooms have a lovely corridor outside which is an open area with another set of rooms above and ceiling above all of it. I like waiting there as there is glass and tables and I can do some online chores whilst waiting
There are signs warning your conversation will be overheard as this is a mezzanine
No phones
I have spent the time listening to conversations from the upstairs ‘waiting room’
One guy has spent the whole time ‘in conversation’ ie grilling the patient next to him about his ailments etc. soooo intrusive.. is there no capacity for quiet introspection??

People who stand right behind you in the shop where you are looking at something and don't say a word, but expect you to know that they are there and want to get past you.
It’s the same on planes!! People stand in the aisle waiting while mr slow-coach stands in the aisle working out where to put his passport, getting out the ipad, putting away the boarding pass, getting out the inflatable neck pillow.

People never say ‘excuse me, can i just pop past?’

WCMO is no domestic airline has launched "no children" flights. Forget pet flights for the minority and provide a needed service.

Definitely willing to pay extra for that.

This afternoons flight was particularly bad with screaming kids for 2hrs start to finish. Not because they were upset or frightened or babies with sore ears, just undisciplined kids allowed to go mental by parents who couldn't give a sh..

The Presumption that the male is the decision maker/action person. I'm the one who organises all the house boat and car insurances and my name is usually listed first and then MrP second. My mobile phone number is inserted for me and for him as is my email address as he doesn't need to be bothered by callers.

So why is it when we change or cancel something, of course my mobile is used for texts, that's obvious , but MrP's name is used in the greeting and not mine yet his name is ALWAYS listed second. I never get the message addressed to me.

Another WCMO. Please fix this stupid duplication issue mods.

TV and I both get update emails for our current build, but they only address him in the greeting line. How hard is it to add "and blackcat" at the start 🤦‍♀️

My partner’s name appears first with Alinta Energy (logical - property title that way). When setting up the account we were both on the phone and asked for joint names but no has to be in one name with me marked as secondary authority on the account. My mobile registered, my email registered.

The account is paid with my cc. After my cc was hacked I rang them to update the cc number. Sorry computer says no, its not your account so you cant update the payment details 🤬

I can get copies of the bill, cancel the account, but I can’t pay them 🤷‍♂️

Well our SMSF has both our names. We have an ANZ CMT used for some of the share trading. ANZ sends the same letters to both of us at the same address. Seem not to be able to fix it.

I had a male friend who used to ring providers and say it's Mary Smith (wife name) and they said what's your DOB and he reeled it off - he said they couldn't say I know you're not a female and used to get around things that way. He could answer any question they threw at him

Just between you and me, i just might have done that a few times. But I think they knew which of the two registered numbers was calling (not partners number)

Years ago we wanted an air conditioner installed. I contacted the company to come out. Was asked if I was married. Yes. Will MrP be there? No I will make the decision. Oh sorry. We will come out when he's available. Needless to say they never came out.

Our builder was great. We'd used him for large maintenance and builds since 2000. Needed him again in 2018 to 2019. He knew never to ask what MrP thought except when I knew I needed to get him involved.

Same house. I did some painting before we moved in. Next door neighbour (male) popped in frequently to say hello. Didn't think much of it until one day MrP answered the door instead of me. Next door neighbour was shocked and asked MrP 'who are you' 😂. This was the same man who when his wife fell from a ladder in the front garden and was screaming in pain, so loudly that we and neighbours on their other side came running out. She had clearly done some damage. The husband just said, No, no ambulance I don't want to frighten the kids (who were young adults not even here at the time). As she continued to scream the neighbour on the other side rang the ambulance. Turned out she had lacerated her liver on the three broken ribs, and had broken her ankle and leg and was in hospital for two weeks. He was an idiot. Very intelligent. And a retired Uni professor. But used to go skinny dipping in the pool and which I caught a glimpse of from our upper level house.

In one of my transition careers I managed property. One tenant was a Boeing executive whose wife came home one day to find the pool guy naked in the pool. She did not join him or take a second look @Pushka ;), but she did get on the phone and asked I change the pool maintenance company.

Was the pool guy that ugly? 🤷‍♂️

Oh. One look was one too many. I pulled all the blinds down. Bleach could not erase that vision.

Our landscaper/handyman always knew to talk to Mrsdrron. He knew even if I made a decision it was likely to be vetoed. On one occasion when I answered the phone he asked that she should be put on the line.
I knew my place in the heirarchy.
