Could use Teams and have a loud video conference call in the middle of a lounge…Sorry to be dull ( again) but you mean you can’t have more than two people on a call? How … 1990s.
Not if you're using WhatsApp.Ah sorry minor clarification to above - primarily I meant group messaging - as soon as an Android in the group it totally splinters - SPITA
As an Android-phile I haven't come against that problem, when adding people into an existing call, or using apps like WhatsApp - they don't seem to care what phone the other end are using.Ah sorry minor clarification to above - primarily I meant group messaging - as soon as an Android in the group it totally splinters - SPITA
Oh Android users have to use 3rd party Apps for effective comms - then 3 x Double WCMO is Android phones
Never have or will use WhateverApp - iOS iMessaging or WeChat more than suffices for for me until bloody Android users want to be included
I live in NSW and commute to work in QLD.Have you not changed your driver licence and electoral address? There can be fines if you don’t change your licence address after an extended period.
OP was referring to texting ie iMessage. Non Apple user break the circle and are damned for eternity.I am android user and I can use the normal phone to have multiple people in the same call no matter what operating system. I have used it with Apple, android, oxygen users.
How?Same for group messaging.

Here we go - step by step instructions please? If iPhone users want to do the same they might need to adjust their settings to allow it.
Not just default iMessage which will not send to non iPhone users.
Here we go - step by step instructions please?
But not very useful OS. A outbound text will trigger roaming charges (as applicable). iMessage happily uses wifi or your eSIM data.Settings:Apps:Messages: toggle iMessage off to force text messaging. That should do what you want.
There are no settings. However the latest iOS18 improves the iOS-Android messaging. If iPhone users want to do the same they might need to adjust their settings to allow it.
That’s the great thing about standards, there’s so many to choose from. There are no settings. However the latest iOS18 improves the iOS-Android messaging.
The problem is Apple uses a different version of RCS
Ah nah - never going to happen - I can do without communicating with Android phones but cannot do without iMessagingtoggle iMessage off to force text messaging. That should do what you want.
