What cheeses me off

What cheeses me off is why new are aircraft built where you need to be a NASA trained pax to work out a simple seat forward - back - recline - non recline - footrest out - footrest back - footrest down - back to upright - FFS we need a tablet to do this?

I’m tippin this would have even had Moses scratchin’ his head!
I rest my case - see here seat controls on SQ 777 - and not a bloody tablet in sight 👍

No proactive top up for the red on the VA flight last night in business. I was livid!

Moderated by the fact that something very strange was going on down the back. the manager type was constantly watching, waited ages to take off, crew whispering about various seat numbers and the issue involved 1F. I asked if everything was ok, and was told all good just need to keep an eye on people changing seats.

I wasn't bothered by the significant delay in departure, but need to acknowledge that VA is not perfect.

a company whose web site only allows you to log in via "face book" - no business from me
OMG I missed Dr Bob’s post - yep no web site and Flogbook only it ta-ta bye-bye from me
Or when its your own organisation (university in my case) and you can only book for an event via Facbook
I would refuse to consider attending Rooey - jeez I hate Bookface - yet my Company has one

And what cheeses me off more is when you tell the uni types 'I don't do facebook', they instantly think you are a technophobe and/or start ... speaking ... a .... bit... slower ...to ...you 🤬

So true
I hate it and never ever use it.
I do not give any business to a company that does exclusively as I figure if you cant afford a website to provide comprehensive information there is something wrong.
Same uni types will brag about the fact they never learnt to drive (like not having a life skill is a positive)

That no one else I know who loves Kdramas lol
Husband much prefers shows like NCIS. There is no one to ooohh and ahhh with over the current episodes of which ever show i am watching

Hotels where there are no simple instructions on how to drive the bloody TV (like where I am now ,looking for the TdF). Digital services that take ages to load during which you've pressed a few more buttons that send you to some undefined on-screen dimension, followed by a spinning wheel ... spinning ... spinning ...

What Cheesed Me Off: Was the unfortunate but silly dad who thought putting his child's toy gun in a carry on was a good idea. Had the sad pleasure of being the one person stuck behind him in the security queue, as every other queue went by as the security told him wtf was he doing.

Aha
What cheeses me off is waiting for the slow lift at BKK airport or train station with a trolley full of luggage including golf clubs and people pushing in from behind and the sides leaving me no room to get in.

They must think they are really clever pushing in. It must have taken the whole of their brain capacity to think of that manoeuvre.

There have been times where I've waited for the lift 10-15 minutes or more. Enough is enough so then I block anyone from getting in and they look at me as if I'm strange.

Weirdos.
Ahahaha. Im just picturing this in my head.

I usually respond with "Facebook? Is that still a thing?". Puts the Uni types on the backfoot immediately whilst they process it.

Cars travelling 10 Ks under the limit but 10Ks over the limit in passing lanes.
Cars travelling under the speed limit but increase speed when you overtake them.

Note I do mostly drive under the speed limit but move out of the way if someone going faster approaches.
