What cheeses me off

My main gripe with going to Bali is that it gives her the chance to catch up another country on me, I have been to Indonesia, she hasn’t. Not that it is a competition, or anything!
That really cheeses me off! :)
Whilst she’s sitting by the pool / going parasailing / whatever other ‘Bali stuff’ is, book yourself the Citilink flight over to Dili and spend a day / night there… total + 1 maintained. 🤪

Well, they want to protect your money
Protect from who? Assume that everyone has been hacked with key logger?

On the websites that have forced me to change password and then have dumb rules like not being able to re-use old passwords I have to reset password each time as I cannot remember the password.

WCMO - in spades. The behaviour from the 3 feral kids in the row in front who without exaggeration could not sit still for more than a minute at a time. I'm putting it down to them being glued these daysto devices/tvs/ipads and not being able to concentrate. It was a dance concert mostly primary kids so I'm assuming they had a brother/sister performing. Jumping on seats, changing places, up and down like yoyo's. Totally ineffectual parents who didn't seem at all bothered about any adverse effect on nearby audience members. I gave one of them the Nanna death stare but it might have been a bit more effective on the parents.

WCMO is stores that wont deliver to PO Box even though they use AusPost as their delivery partner.
Amazon did my head in yesterday and today. Won't deliver to PO Box so had to send to business office. The courier ignored my instructions and tried to deliver it Sunday. Fail. Amazon didnt give details of the courier company - for their security? 😉 as I was happy to go collect it. They refused. So said it had to be delivered today. Then they sent me a code that had to be given to the courier driver on delivery and so assumes of course people stay home from 8am to 8pm. So had to email through to reception the code. Thankfully it worked out in the end.

Yes they did that to me once. I had to quote a code even though the couirier delivered the package to the address on the parcel. Go figure. Pointless.

I find Amazon hit and miss, sometimes will do PO Box other times not. In frustration of needing the item urgently I ordered form JB HiFi instead and selected the Uber delivery option, goods arrived in under 1 hour, worth every cent of the $10 delivery fee.

WCMO is stupid, half-baked government IT systems that are supposed to verify one's identity that tell you that the details don't match and to check carefully and try again, but I've <expletive> checked it over so many times and I've entered it correctly, so don't try and tell me that the details are wrong.

I swear I was ready to kill someone.

WCMO ………. canned water - FFS canned still water in 4 Seasons SF - FFS - can’t screw top back on - can’t take it with you - how idiotic - ‘We are saving the planet’ with our 100% recyclable can - yeah right

WCMO is being in an office that has a kitchen, with a dishwasher ... and has a sign on it to let you know it's empty, yet everyone still just plonks their tea / coffee mugs in the sink.
Related to this are people who put their dirty mugs etc. in a dishwasher when clearly it has just finished a cleaning cycle and requires unstacking.

That's where the suite address comes in handy. EG Kmart wont deliver to a PO box but will to the Suite address at said Post office.

WCMEO is when they don't deliver to PObox only to a street address.
Then when there is someone at home, they only put a "you were not home" card in the letter box. Meaning I had to go to the Post office to pick it up.

Our local last mile AusPost courier only comes in a motorbike putting out "you were not at home" cards. The main truck just goes to the post office. I think it's a semirural density thing. 1 house per 5 acres or more. Also why we don't get Trick or treaters

WCMEO even more.
Today is the third StarTrack delivery with no notification.
How do I know?
I get the message that parcel is coming today - and then 2 days later (after NO FURTHER COMMS) I go to our local PO with the details and ask ‘is it here yet?’
Yes
Only happens with StarTrack.
Predictably now so follow the above protocol.
When I have time (and patience) I plan to let the companies who use them know. Comms to the delivery company itself are useless - even with todays irritating ‘rate me’ request for the latest.

Can you use the Aus Post app with star track delivery? That’s usually up to date.

Yes
No help
… it never triggers to the ‘collect at PO’
…Just its ‘being delivered today ‘ … and for the third time it had gone to the PO and it was never updated on the tracking app. I complained to the PO who say it happens a lot.
