WCMO? I can't smell dope! We were in Amsterdam walking around the obvious districts and I commented to MrP that I couldn't see any dope smokers. He looked at me in disbelief! He said there was pot everywhere and we reeked of it.

That is so funny - we could smell it everywhere in Amsterdam. It is not illegal but it was just very strange as not something we smell a lot here.

Ok. NAB. I had to call up recently as they were charging the wrong interest rate on an investment loan. It's fully offset so in reality it's no drama but here's the kicker. When I checked later they said 'we've reduced the interest rate but not the monthly amount you have to pay'. If it wasn't offset and we pay more anyway than required, I'd be contacting the ombudsman.

FWIW, it's always been my experience that in the event of rate drops, the repayment amount doesn't reduce unless requested. Different story if NAB are refusing to reduce the repayment amount when requested (after a rate drop takes effect).

I did ask about that when I rang about the rates and as I was checking online at the time she said it would take some to reflect. I guess I didn't ask, how long? As it's fully offset then it isn't an issue but for many it should be automatic. And I can't be bothered calling them again.

But australia is different. The vapers of old are illegal now, and you can only get vapes on prescription. Those aren’t generally the ones with the huge plumes of smoke. And they can’t be flavoured.

Naive to think unsanctioned vapes aren't in great abundance and even being used in primary schools.

Laws have never stopped humans doing stupid things, merely made it punishable if caught.

Might be illegal but still readily available just walk past any bus stop full of high school students (none of whom qualify for a prescription).

We usually buy Coles Sweet Chilli Sauce. A month or so I bought a Woolworths Sweet Chilli Sauce.

Had some oven style potatoes Saturday night and I opened the Woolworths Sweet Chilli Sauce and put in on the potatoes. It was very strong and nothing sweet about it.

Checked label again and definitely Sweet Chilli Sauce. Is this once off or is their Sweet chilli sauce nothing like Sweet chilli sauce?

Glad they have a policy to "try it and if you don't like it then return it or replace it for free".
