What cheeses me off

Didn’t realise that, but thinking about it, yes. So maybe I would get a police report as part of an insurance claim, as I’m not keen on coughing up an excess.
And it does have the assumption that it was one of those cars that caused damage. In a car park often multiple cars will come and go next to you.

they agreed to pay for damage. Just a PITB to have to run around and get quotes and deal with insurance company.
Follow-up from hotel.

Dear TMA,
We hope this email finds you well.
We are reaching out with regret regarding the unfortunate incident that occurred yesterday in our parking lot. We take full responsibility for the matter and are committed to resolving it.
As discussed, please contact your insurance and proceed with a no-fault claim. However, if your insurance requires an upfront payment as you mentioned before, and you find this inconvenient, please let us know what solution would work best for you.
For any further communication, please feel free to reach out to either myself or my manager, who has been copied on this email.

I’m very happy with the response. Unfortunately accidents happen sometimes.

How did you discover the damage?

WCMO leaning over the edge of the bed and suddenly realise that you continuing to lean and land on the floor , sliding up against the wall. It was so so slow happening 😁😁. Absolutely fine , I am giggling on the floor but husband had a small scare when all he saw was my feet at the doorway .
Too much red wine? Been there.:)

My skills at interpreting what's needed for wife to earn VA Platinum. Ruined it back in January as 2 sectors expired 2 days before the travel I planned.

I checked and double checked and calculated that wife needed 60 SCs and 2 sectors if flying 29-30 March.

We flew to Sydney on weekend and daughter and I pooled to wife on first leg and I took myself out of family pooling for return leg so wife earned 75 SCs and the additional 2 sectors. I really should have checked Saturday morning before taking myself out of family pooling.

Now wife is on 991 SCs and from next Monday SCs drop off and if we wait until we're back from Thailand end of April she'll need 72 SCs and maybe more sectors.

BNE-CNS return for $200 + 11,900 points is the only cost effective route that we can do as she works other days.

I really hope no further surprises tomorrow.

WCMO : the thing with motorised trunk/boot opening is that sometimes you are not fast enough to catch it before it bangs against something. For me it was a low ceiling at one section of Woolies.
You can usually set the max opening height to prevent that.

In WA we lock our drivers licences to prevent hacking. Today I had to unlock it as my ID could not be confirmed for a transaction.
