What I ate today - the food thread

Thanks for your post on diet drinks GPH.
Have not had a Coke nor Diet Coke for almost 23 years. I was addicted.

Pizza night last night! I customised a Hawaiian - swapped the ham with pear slices. It was an abomination. (Maybe pineapple and feta or prawn would be better)

A good pizza and Coke Zero goes down a treat (too merge a couple of current ideas on the thread :) ) although fish and chips is my favourite...

And i am a slightly unreformed cola addict... I was drinking around 2 litres a day of diet colas until not so long ago but now down to about two cans of Pepsi Max or Coke Zero (whichever is cheaper at the time) a day...

Also started intermittent fasting a couple of weeks ago so had my home made low cal Lasagna today for lunch but ate it all before i saw this thread so no pic...

I had a client who drank 2-3 litres of soft drinks a day, and argued that it was better than alcohol. Well he eventually became severely diabetic and had his leg amputated and is now dealing with liver failure. ..... I suppose each to his own.

It does take so good... But yes, everything in moderation i suppose...

And with the sugary variety its easier to guzzle it when your 24 than 44 and not have quite as many repercussions....

Im having a look around Moscow at the moment and took the easy option of a meal deal for lunch.

Bi-weekly team breakfast. The chosen chef made avocado on toast (we joked he won't be able to afford a house now)

And stopped by The Grounds of the City (offshoot of The Grounds of Alexandria) after dinner, where I had a Rockford for tipples. We got free cake!
