We went for dinner at Ginza Dorobushi in Tokyo tonight. We had the vegan set menu and there were lots of interesting courses.

No photos, but it did happen!

Exactly, we'd forgotten to bring them from home (we had an open packet) and he forgot to buy some of the items (I thought he's missed more than shallots). He even made a home made drizzle (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, can't remember what else he threw into it) - which also went well with the lamb.

Mombok = mock Wombok cos it's missing the key elements of toasted pinenuts and shallots?

This is one of my go to salads. It's so damn good!

Craving a bacon buttie too - nothing more than good bacon, the freshest of white bread and butter!

I had smashed avocado on sourdough...little wonder I can't afford to buy in Sydney!

Egg theme here too but I made the most sublime scrambled eggs I've ever made!

Farmers Market eggs, splash of cream and then done over low heat. Right at the end, added some Pyengana cheddar and a truffled pecorino.

Took all my willpower to make more!

A quiet night in.
Spaghetti with chicken, Broccolini , mushrooms , finished with a wee splash of cream. :-).
