What I ate today - the food thread

Today’s lunch at Euro in AKL. This place keeps giving for us. We started with the Te Maluku Bay oysters, half natural, half tempura, followed by the sashimi and the squid. For mains we had the spaghetti and the risotto. All dishes were superb. We washed it all down with Nautilus Vintage Rose 2014 - a great sparkling.

I haven’t been over for my oysters at Euro this year!

That’s a great looking menu and a very reasonable price. If you have time, give Giraffe a go as well. Lots of dishes from the old Euro menu, but some great new ones as well.

Status run on EK F?

Yes. Just say the word. I am so close to P1. Did an EK F Status Run recently. Total waste of flying in F. The FAs had to drag us back from the bar to eat our meal before it went cold. Lol

We've got a QF voucher that needs to be used....

Depending on deadlines, I am planning my once a year pilgrimage to my old school (Kings College Auckland) to watch a home game (1st XV) rugby. It’s a great Day out. I would be happy to have you along if you’re interested. PM me for more info
