Dinner tonight in Edinburgh, Galvin Brasserie de luxe. Bill ended up being £100 inc service charge and tip (no alcohol) so when I signed the bill, told them I was keeping the pen and I did.

Hubby had the guest breed house special rib eye (£38) and prawns. I had individual beef Wellington. Some veggies as sides, inc beef dripping chips.

Then... Hubbys been obsessing about the passionfruit and mango dessert he had last night at Galvins. I texted the Waldorf Astoria front desk, asking if any was still available, as it was a daily special yesterday. They responded yes only one was left so he burned off some calories in running the 50 steps from Kyloe to the Astoria Brasserie and there it was, waiting for him...

It could be a play on the light but the ribeye & porterhouse look aged so would be my pick
Min 28 days aged for most and a couple were 36. Can't remember what hubby's was but he went with left hand side, second from the top.
 
Looks good, but what was wrong with greater terminal A ambience followed by a brisk walk after lunch? o_O:D
We had already walked 110km from plane to Dubai connect, then back. Enough exercise is too much.

Note to self: get a motorised buggy next time.
