Salmon poké bowl at Sake Jr. What I loved was the grilled corn - it reminded me of childhood drives to the mountains where there'd be roadside peddlers making charcoal grilled corns

Boomy, I'm salivating right here! Black pearl looked super creative. Is it choc mousse on some sort of wafer @ Waldorf?

It's layers of chocolate mousse, passionfruit cream and chocolate ganache seared with coconut. It tasted as good as it looks :) Not at Waldorf but at a restaurant called Mama's Fish House, very famous in Maui.

Grilled sardines, monkfish with prawns and rice in spicy tomato sauce, it was almost a stew, some vino verde and a bottle of vino tinto. Best part was that we were the only tourists in the place, the rest were locals. The servings were huge, tomorrow we have to have one 'main' between us.
I'm liking Portugal more and more!

Did you have an aged Black Shiraz in the Stone Wall room before sitting down for lunch, or was the Sparkling Pinot Meunière in its place?

Pinot Meunier today. Very toasty and delicious.
And they're sold out of Black Shiraz! :eek
