All you can eat BBQ, at NOLA - Barangaroo, Sydney.
A favourite of my 13 y.o. daughter, although I’m not convinced she eats her $70 worth
Would recommend.

Back to the Dicky Beach surf club for lunch.
We first shared a dozen Coffin Bay oysters with Ponzu.


Really nice.
Then Mrsdrron had the roast lamb. The lamb was excellent.


And I had the biggest Osso Bucco I have ever had. But tender and tasty.

Had the prawns and duck. Delightful along with some sparkling red wine and desert wine

Am at Holiday Inn Soi22 Sukhumvit and got an upgrade to an Executive Room with concomitant lounge access.

Came in this afternoon for a Coke Zero and was asked if I wanted the High Tea set. And here it is, I'll get through it.

Lunch at Nguyen Brothers Maroochydore. Lemongrass beef noodle salad for Mrsdrron as usual.


While I had the crab udon soup served with extra chilli. Sensational.

Then it was off to Tattersalls Club on Tuesday. Fantastic meal





I could have eaten another one the entree was so good



But the main was stupendous. Finally a chef that seasoned the Barramundi properly.

So unusually there was a Monday function this week, back at the Sofitel:











Food was great but service was poor. At my table of 6, I was the only one to get Barra for main - all because my RHS seat mate had a crustacean allergy - that threw the servers into a spin on both courses, with our table being under delivered by 2 meals both times.

Breakfast at Salted Egg, Quincy Hotel Melbourne - a la carte
The menu is asian fusion, a bit early in the day for me, so I chose soft poached eggs with tomato and spinach.

Back at Kwan Ho a few weeks back. Delicious.

Had a colleague recommend Messina so as I was dropping my son at QPAC tonight for a Peter Helliar play, I spent 10 minutes in the line at the Melbourne Street, South Brisbane store:







I’ll admit both scoops were lovely - Pear & Rhubard (tasted the pear but not the sweet tartness expected with Rhubarb) as well as Coconut and Lychee. $8.90 was good value.

Todays was at Babylon (145 Eagle Street), haven’t been here for years. Was a great meal. Have to try and source the red wine for future drinking:





















The beef was falling off the bone and I polished it off for the event organizers - who didn’t want it to go to waste. There were 10 of us at the lunch, 2 of the beef dishes was enough. In fact the menu was probably one dish too many.
