25 trillion.

(While I don't have that many... Like wages, conquests, and net value some things don't need to be discussed).

Mal I hoped you liked my little joke.
We are coming to London on the best of British tomorrow.

1.32m & earning faster than I'm spending but that will soon change in a few years as starting to retire. I like the Amex points as I can transfer then anywhere. Had just over 1/2 mil & used 320 odd K on 2 SQ J returns to London leaving in 2 weeks.

Yes I have one eye on retirement too now (say about 2-4 years away), which is one reason I am not too keen on burning for the sake of burning.

I get my one or two international trips in J/F for the family each year, but am aiming to have a stockpile for when I do start to ease into retirement. That currently does me, as I only get so much leave per year.
My current earn rate has been pretty good and so have burnt several million points on flights the last several years. Mainly on *A than QFF though.
While my QFF stash is 0.8 mill, on various cards and FF programs I have another 1.5 mill.

Once I ease down my points earning capacity will drop. Offsetting that is that I will mainly also drop to getting redemptions for 2 rather than 5!

I am mindful of Ansett, though I was lucky there as I redeemed 0.5 mill on SQ 2 weeks before they went under, and so I only lost a small amount, whereas mates of mine lost millions. So I do not "warehouse" on rocky airlines. QFF is safe enough for now, but I am keeping an eyes out.

If I can keep flying in J on international flights for many years yet I will be a happy boy!!

Religion, politics, sexual orientation etc?

Discussing point balances is harmless.

Probably better to discuss ideas and strategies than raw numbers. I try to let people know when I bugger something up so they do not make the same mistake.

Nearly had the 1,000,000 but used most of them for 2 FASA return to LHR. Mr ALH wanted to see that 1,000,000
