What's your prediction on the Australian Dollar?

Are cows manufactured in the US?
Nope - sustained dry period followed by soaking rains means huge demand by Australian restockers for cattle / sheep - insatiable demand by China for secondary cuts - 20%+ decline in AD/USD exchange rate making Australian exports much more attractive to many different markets = huge windfalls for Australian livestock producers = unbelievably high supermarket prices domestically.

Winners and losers on both sides - but again Australian consumers will take it in the neck as result of tumbling Aussie dollar.

Meanwhile, the Chinese are still paying roughly the same price for the meat - just that their currency now buys a lot more AUD.

The Australian dollar is now closer to the Reserve Bank target of 0.75 and Australia is being accused of being a currency manipulator by other countries so the fall may be a just about done.

If you're proven correct, it adds weight to the accusations! ;)

Yes in our eyes they have - but not looking through Chinese eyes - no freehold with Chinese real estate but rather 50 year leases - so when they can actually purchase freehold they consider it my children's children's children's investment - 100 years out.

my friend (a foreigner in china) purchased a 70 year lease. They figure that might be long enough :)

What is significant about the 25th of February regarding the AUD? Sorry a newbie in regards to forex.
Hahaha. It was a significant date in my life. Have been able to shift that day to sometime in June.

I really hope the AUD recovers. It's a joke the NZD is almost on parity. AUD1=NZD1.20 is what I grew up with and anything less is embarrassing.

I grew up with Collingwood losing Grand Final after Grand final - now I have seen them win 2 - I'll never get over it!

Simple case of deferring.

How many have St Kilda lost since 1973? I wasn't here in 1966. So there's still hope of one grand final win this century?

Got paid this week by an American client. I invoiced in 'dollars' and he paid in 'dollars'. I gave him my price over the phone in 'dollars' and he accepted. Now I'm not sure if we were talking $A or $US but it seems to have worked out quite well!
