The juxtapositioning of flying and mermaid (sea/wet/swimming) amused me at the time. Possibly watching Little Mermaid videos countless times with the ankle biters was also a factor.

Mine has been a tigger of conversation at events :p

It's comprised of my initials and the 767-338 (38 being QF's Boeing customer code..).

These types of threads come up from time to time; and I probably have replied to a few of them. Its funny when you know the reasons behind a lot of usernames; maybe I have just been here too long.

I visited Bundaberg in 2001 when I joined Flyertalk and so I thought that would be a good username for a forum, but about the same time a friend of mind sailed an old 18foot skiff which had been sponsored by Bundaberg Rum with the very distinctive Bundy Bear logo.

Bundy Bear is a very friendly character and I like to think I am like that in real life.

A drunken game of Scattergories and a buddy was asked to give us something that you'd find at a carnival that starts with the letter 'D'. We're still laughing at him 15 years later...

A friend used to call me Fifa. I didn't want to use my real name so this was a convenient option.
Absolutely nothing to do with football despite what some may first think!

ha mIRC! those were the days..does IRC have any hope in this day and age? bit like bulletin boards I suppose.

Mine is a play on a nick I used back on IRC in the mid/late 90's.

I change my nick/username for each forum/online activity.

Mine is just my middle name - the problem with it being that I worry that everyone thinks I am worrying about the cost of it all - which is not necessarily the case...... (And from that people could probably work out that I am a Libran, going around in circles worrying)

TIRED - Of rip offs by CEOs,Polies, Unions and the like.
OLD. - Enough to get senior ski passes.
