sorry about the delay replying.

The aircraft pictured is the M-21 variant of the A-12 in the Blackbird family, and is one of just 2 built for the CIA as "motherships" for unpiloted drones.
The other one crashed in an accident caused by launching the drone, which resulted in the program being cancelled, and so the one at the Seattle museum of flight is unique.
The display includes the drone mounted on the pylon on the rear of the fuselage.

I thought I would post this one and the location is known however taken during the day and I am pretty sure that is the same sculpture taken from the other side. Your photo is much nicer.

Just another guess it is an old school dragster and looking at the photo there seems to be a person driving on the RHS and the electric poles in the far background could be SA stobie poles. My guess Elizabeth SA?
