Ok Rioja vats, but idk what they do with the lee. Dye ?
Actually I miss-typed and it’s pumace not must. The stuff left over after the must has been pressed and wine run off. Used for making Grappa in Italy and other spirits in other countries and stock feed and fertilise.

Good get. I was thinking somewhere in the Atlantic like Madeira. Could've been anywhere!

god dammit - I spent a day down there a few years ago and it was beautiful. Just went back to look at all my photos :) Thanks for bringing back the memories
