I would have said Scotland, maybe Loch Ness but Holmes was the giveaway. Lake Brienz.

It is superb. I first went there in 1982 and saw David Copperfield and it is one of those enduring memories - it was a beautiful warm night and watching the sun set over the sea was just magical.

I went back in 2017 but missed out on a performance and it has changed a lot but still magical.
