Where will you be on NYE?

Just curious to know of everyone's plans for New Year's Eve this year.

First year in a long time we don't have anything decided as yet. Been invited down to a beach house on the Peninsula as well as a house party and also a dinner at Docklands. Was going to be working but it felt through (which I would have preferred!) Undecided what to do, as personally I find NYE a bit "meh" every year.

Is anyone doing anything exciting, out of the ordinary or just chillaxing?

I'll be on China Railways service Z61 from Beijing to Changchun en route to Harbin with a couple of friends when midnight strikes. Hopefully the on board alcohol supply will be plentiful.

We will be a my old bosses property in the qld hinterland. I understand it's not a shabby place, then down to the HSP for a week.

Lets see how their hospitality stacks up.

I will be in Dubai somewhere enjoying the night. Keeping my hands away from females (even those who want to have my hands touching them!), Ensuring that I don't give any females a NY kiss, lest I be arrested.

Reality may be a whole lot better than expectations though I have booked "Mrs Mal" into my room just in case...

I will be in Paris. No plans yet. Will probably wander around the city and enjoy the buzz, weather permitting.

Heading to Newcastle (UK) this afternoon and will be enjoying a few fireworks from the Tyne Bridge, far better than Harbour Bridge!!

When I was younger, so much younger than today (good line for a song ) NYE was a blast. These days, way overrated. Will likely be at a mate's Docklands apartment for a nice view of the fireworks.
