Who else has to regularly chase up Qantas for points & status credits owed....

It’s hard to discern a consistent pattern, let alone a root cause, in what people are reporting. I’ve had no problem with BA sectors flown in mid-May and mid-June (4-5 days to post to my QFF a/c). It took just over a week for two AY flights in June to post, but I’ve had to chase QFF about two earlier AY flights flown in mid-May: submitting the online form produced automated responses from QF for both missing flights:

Your claim for missing Qantas Points submitted on xx-xx_-2022 has been processed but was UNSUCCESSFUL – AIRFARE AND BOOKING CLASS NOT ELIGIBLE TO EARN”.

That rejection was plainly an error. Fares were AY Business Classic and eligible SC/points posted successfully for the return legs of same tickets. So I emailed BP scans to QFF a fortnight ago and am awaiting resolution. Problem with AY, QF or both? Who knows?

And am I right in thinking that there is no way to dispute this, or even contact someone.
Would the ‘head of loyalty’ even be interested?

In recent experience, the email address was actually rather responsive and fixed/ credited the points within an amazing 48 hours. Automated "claim form" often just sits there for well over 2 weeks- I got the feeling last time that the two channels aren't even connected or speaking to each other.

We are now at 2 weeks since some FJ domestic and a NAN-BNE flight. Will they eventually post automatically or do I have to chase them up?
One of them KDV-SUV didn't give a boarding pass. A guy had a notebook at the gate and just verbally told us where to sit.
I used the online form, apparently it was a "zero earn class". I used the annual $200 Amex travel voucher to book this so I wasn't even looking at the class.

I've given up chasing the Iberia flights from last year, online claims went nowhere and follow-up emails to QFF go unanswered.

Meanwhile from a recent US trip ticketed with BA, the AA operated flights all credited within 2-4 days (and appear in my QFF activity with the BA codeshare flight numbers) but the BA operated flights have not credited, so have just filled in online claims for them.

Maybe lucky and against the trend but flight Mel Sin creditted immediately and the bonus SCs within a couple of days. SCs Sin Hel ARN on AY, two sectors arrived within 7 days.

SYD+1 flew to BER a couple of weeks ago - QF SYD-SIN followed by QR SIN-DOH-BER. The first two flights credited within days but DOH-BER didn’t / hasn’t. Went to the online claim and there’s only the choice for “Berlin (TXL)”….

The QF IT crowd obviously weren’t reading the thread about BER actually now open for business…

Subsequent flights BER-MAD // MAD-LHR on IB didn’t post either…Sigh.

Funny thing, we both flew BA BER-LCY a few weeks ago and that flight posted within a couple of days.

Lol. Aaah- that makes me happy. Not because of your ordeal to get your miles, I feel for you. Rather because poor old Tegel gets a second life, at least in Qantas’ silly IT systems. Hilarious

From my recent euro trip, of 10 sectors on BA, AY and IB only 1 ba flight has credited :(

I'd given up chasing the missing SCs/points, mostly because I retained Platinum without them, but just noticed I'm fairly close to reaching Lifetime Silver so they'd actually still be quite useful to me.

Though not really sure what else I can do at this point? Tried both the WebChat service and calling, they just tell me to send another email. Seriously, after waiting an hour on hold to talk to someone the response was basically sorry there's nothing we can do over the phone, send us an email, bye!

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and switch over to BA as my main status earning airline, though at the moment I don't think they're doing much better.

I have found email including an attached boarding pass is the best method in getting points credited.

I've already sent them, and some did get credited after that, but not all of them.

I guess I'll try re-sending the ones still missing and see what happens.

Update: I finally got my points & SCs credited this week i.e. over two months after both AY sectors were flown. Received exactly what the QFF calculator had said those flights would be eligible for.

This is what produced the desired result for me, as it has in the past, but it took ~5 weeks after I emailed a scan of the BPs.

If this hadn’t worked the only option would have been to enter the call centre lottery. I was not relishing that prospect, in particular after reading a post on ET a couple of weeks ago by someone who was chasing up QF SCs/points from a QR flight: there was eventual success but he/she was initially told on the phone by Manila that only flights on QF metal qualified and the agent (new recruit clearly) knew nothing about OW. Good grief.

Still waiting for double status credits for flight on 28 May and 19/20 June. Standard points and credits was credited almost immediately after flight. Just curious when should I call again to chase?

My IB flights credited today - took around a month.
SYD+1 had some IB flights credit yesterday from late June also. Maybe it’s a slow batching system?

I received a reply to my latest boarding pass photo email yesterday, I've been told to speak to Iberia and request they send me a 'Flight Confirmation Letter', and then forward that on to QFF.

For those in a similar situation, I've found on Ibera's website a 'proof request' form to obtain a proof of travel certificate: https://www.iberia.com/gb/customer-relations/#tab-2

I'll report back if that works, and of course if it's finally accepted by QFF.

Interesting the variation in timing in this thread, my QR flights in July all credited within 24hrs. Very efficient.

So on the return, QR J DOH-SIN posted before SYD+1’s first glass of bubbles in the QF SIN F lounge was poured! But BER-DOH is MIA (no, not the Florida variety).

I’d like to blame the QF system not recognising BER, but we both had BA LHR-BER / BER-LCY post seamlessly a couple of months ago.

Really no rhyme nor rhythm to the no shows….
